An Orcas Deputy was informed of a sick deer near the Eastsound area. The deer was dispatched and Public Works was contacted.

An Orcas Deputy received a report of a theft on Lodge Lane. A report was taken and there are no suspects at this time.

An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a trespassing callback near the golf course. The reporting party was contacted and information was given.

Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched with Orcas Fire to a multiple vehicle accident in the Eastsound area. One of the drivers was arrested for DUI. A report was taken.
20-001832 Animal at Large 10:55:13 03/12/20
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a dog at large call. The Deputy was not able to locate the dogs. An information report was filed.
20-001834 Citizen Dispute 11:17:25 03/12/20
A Deputy responded to a Citizen Dispute call on San Juan Island. The Deputy spoke with the people involved and completed an informational report at the request of the caller for documentation purposes. No further investigation at this time.

A Lopez Deputy was contacted regarding suspicious circumstances. A report was completed and assistance provided.
20-001841 Domestic Dispute or Assault 16:34:47 03/12/20
Deputies on San Juan were dispatched to a Domestic Violence incident. The investigation found it was a verbal argument and no crimes were committed.

Deputies were dispatched to Domestic Dispute involving a juvenile. A report was taken and sent to the Juvenile Office.

An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a citizen assist call near Eastsound. Everything turned out to be fine and an informational report was taken.

A Deputy responded to an unoccupied Lopez Island residence to investigate a residential alarm. There was no evidence of a crime and it was determined that the alarm was activated due to inclement weather. A report was completed.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a dog at large. The subject responsible for the dogs was contacted and advised if it happens again they will be issued an infraction.

A Deputy on San Juan took a report of suspicious activity on a boat. The incident was documented.

An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to an agency assist in the Olga area. Everything thing went smoothly and a report was taken.

A Lopez Deputy was contacted regarding a civil issue around the sale of a boat. Both parties were contacted and referrals for a possible solution were provided.

Deputies responded to a Death Investigation call involving a male that passed away. The victim was transported from the scene by Evans Funeral Home & an investigation is ongoing.
20-001925 Mental Health 14:11:52 03/16/20
Lopez EMS and a Deputy assisted a resident who was having health issues.
20-001926 Malicious Mischief 16:53:14 03/16/20
A Lopez island man was arrested for domestic violence related vandalism and harassment.
20-001931 Person Shot 20:21:35 03/16/20
Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched to a shooting. The reporting party advised there were multiple victims and the suspect was being detained. Upon arrival the gunman was taken into custody and the victims transported to medical facilities to seek treatment. The investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy responded to a welfare check in Friday Harbor. The Deputy spoke with the person involved and found that he was doing well. Information report completed. No further investigation required.

A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to investigate a 911 hang up call. No problem was found at the location and the source of the call could not be determined.

A Frost Island property owner reported vandalism to his water catchment system.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a citizen dispute in Friday Harbor. The report was forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for charging.
20-001947 Trespassing 17:28:14 03/17/20
A Lopez Island business owner issued a Trespass Warning Letter to a man after he wrote a number of bad checks to the business. The man is unwelcome on the property until the matter of the checks is resolved.
20-001952 Domestic Dispute or Assault 23:57:42 03/17/20
San Juan Deputies were dispatched to report of a Domestic Dispute. The suspect was arrested for Assault 4th Degree/DV.
