Deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the Eastsound area. Further investigation revealed, the incident was verbal only. No assaults or threats had occurred. An informational report was completed.

Orcas Deputies responded to a complaint of littering at the end of Blanchard Rd near Eastsound. Deputies located the discarded item, identified the suspect and issued her an infraction.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a two vehicle collision. A report was completed and one driver was cited for failing to yield right of way.
18-003748 Traffic Hazard 17:40:57 06/08/18
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a traffic hazard at Military Road and Fisherman Bay Road on 06/08/18. It was determined a wheel fell off of a trailer while it was being used to move a boat. The trailer and boat were removed by a local tow truck owner.

A Deputy responded to a Theft/Shoplifting call in Friday Harbor. The suspect was issued a criminal citation for Theft in the Third Degree and released. Report made and forwarded to Prosecutor’s Office.

A Deputy was dispatched to a report of an Assault in Friday Harbor. Investigation Continues.
18-003797 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 17:48:54 06/09/18
A Lopez Island resident reported a suspicious person at their residence. The suspect was located, identified and directed not to return to that property. No crime had been committed.
18-003804 Runaway Juvenile 22:25:07 06/09/18
The reporting Deputy was contacted in reference to a Runaway Juvenile in the Friday Harbor area. During the contact, the juvenile returned home. An informational report was taken.

A Deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area in reference to a Possible Attempted Suicide. The reporting Deputy arrived and contacted the involved parties. One person was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.

Deputies located a male with an outstanding warrant on Bracken Fern Ln near Eastsound. The male was arrested and transported to the substation where he was able to post bail.

A Lopez Deputy was called for a dog at large complaint. The dogs owner was issued a citation.
18-003823 Domestic Dispute or Assault 16:15:24 06/10/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a Domestic in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy arrived and contacted in involved parties. One person was transported to the hospital for medical issues.
18-003829 Animal at Large 19:14:14 06/10/18
A Lopez Island Deputy was called about a dog running at large near the school. The dog was chasing rabbits in a thicket of wild roses and never let anyone get close to it. It was neither injured or in distress, and was not accessible where it was located. No action was taken.

A Deputy took a report of an order violation in Eastsound. It appeared that a person attempted to make contact with the protected person through a 3rd party. The protected person made a report. The case is under further investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to an Unwanted Person in Friday Harbor. The Unwanted person was issued a Trespass Warning Letter.

Deputies were made aware of a Fraud attempt. A suspect attempted to purchase a phone through the victim’s carrier account. No loss was incurred by the carrier or the victim. An information report was generated.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Malicious Mischief that occurred in Friday Harbor. No suspects at this time.
