25-003522 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 12:05:32 06/11/25
A Friday Harbor middle school employee reported an older woman making comments to the students that seemed inappropriate. After investigating and talking with the woman, it was determined no crime had been committed.
25-003527 Citizen Assist 15:24:52 06/11/25
Safe San Juans and a citizen visited the Sheriff’s Office Orcas Island sub-station to have the Deputy document an incident that occurred. The Deputy asked if they wanted an investigation in the matter and the citizen did not. A report was taken and documented.

25-003537 Domestic Dispute or Assault 08:28:54 06/12/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed the incident to be verbal in nature and the parties had separated themselves prior to arrival. All involved were counseled regarding the incident and outlets for assistance were suggested.
25-003541 Theft 10:41:04 06/12/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to the 600 block of Obstruction Pass Rd. for a theft call. A report was taken.
25-003560 Accident-HitRun 21:19:36 06/12/25
An Orcas Island Deputy assisted a local citizen that was a victim of a hit and run. The collision happened at Buck Park in the evening. If you noticed any vehicle that side swiped a white-colored van that was at Buck Park, please contact the Sheriff’s Office.

A Lopez Deputy collected marijuana for destruction at the owners request.
25-003576 Accident-Injury, Traffic 10:24:05 06/13/25
A Deputy and Lopez EMS responded to the crash of an electric scooter. A report was completed, and the rider’s property was secured.
25-003577 Parking Problem 10:54:24 06/13/25
The Sheriff’s Office issued an infraction to a vehicle parked in a no parking zone off of Obstruction Pass Rd on Orcas Island.
25-003583 Theft 13:14:01 06/13/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to theft case in the Eastsound area. Unfortunately, the incident happened approximately in January of 2025 and no suspects were identified. The incident was documented, and a case number was provided to the victim.

A former tenant was suspected of theft on Lopez Island. A report was completed. Probable cause for a charge does not exist at this time.
25-003586 Fraud 14:59:44 06/13/25
An Orcas Island Deputy authored a report of fraud for a local citizen in the Eastsound area. No crime had occurred.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a report of threats made. After the Deputy investigated the allegation, it was revealed that it was a civil matter. Resources were provided to the concerned party and the incident was documented.

Lopez Deputies responded to a noise-related harassment complaint.

A Lopez resident turned in found property. The item was submitted to evidence for storage.
25-003618 Boating Problem 18:28:41 06/14/25
Orcas Island Deputies along with Orcas Island Fire and Rescue responded to boaters in distress from their boat sinking. With the help from a whale watching charter business out of Friday Harbor they rescued the swimmers in the water. Everyone was safe and the incident was documented.
25-003624 Domestic Dispute or Assault 22:12:28 06/14/25
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a domestic incident in the Eastsound area. An investigation revealed that the primary aggressor did commit a crime and was subsequently booked into the jail. The victim was provided resources, and a 24-hour safety plan was conducted. The incident was documented.
SUNDAY, JUNE 15
25-003634 Malicious Mischief 15:50:45 06/15/25
Deputies on San Juan responded to vandalism at the elementary school baseball field. Someone decided to damage property that was not theirs by shattering a window, leaving a door open with a paperclip jammed in the keyhole, and attempted to break the dead bolt and doorknob on a second door.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to Island Market for a found property call. Upon arrival a US Passport was taken into custody and booked into the sheriff’s station for safekeeping.
25-003659 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 22:19:18 06/16/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to the 100 block of Falling Tree Rd. for a possible trespasser. Once the Deputy arrived 3 people were in a residence where they were squatting. One of the subjects was arrested for outstanding warrants. The owner of the property wanted not law enforcement

A Deputy on Orcas Island arrested a person in possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
