A Lopez resident found human feces and toilet paper adjacent to her home. The property checked clear of any encampments. The HOA was notified, and asked to report suspicious persons or activity.

A Lopez Island Deputy responded to an animal at large complaint. It was determined that dogs killed a neighbor’s livestock after they escaped from the owner. The victim declined filing a formal complaint against the dog owners after they agreed to reimburse him for his loss. A report as completed.
