15-003789 Wanted Person 09:53:33 07/08/15: A deputy was driving through Jensen Alley when the deputy observed a male subject that had an outstanding warrant from Department of Corrections. The subject was arrested in a nearby apartment.

15-003791 Assault – Aggravated 11:52:04 07/08/15: A deputy received a report of an assault where a biker reported that a motorist tried to run him off of the road while he was biking on Roche Harbor Rd. This case is still under investigation.

15-003796 Accident-HitRun 13:25:06 07/08/15: Reporting victim called in to dispatch to document a hit and run that occurred. RP stated within the past couple of weeks her vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle at an unknown location.

15-003799 Fraud 16:02:30 07/08/15: A deputy received a report of a credit card fraud. The victim’s credit card was used online to purchase several items from Walmart.com.

15-003805 Vicious Animal 20:23:48 07/08/15: Deputy was dispatched to the 10 block of Lodge Lane in regards to a pit bull attacking another dog. The pit bull fled and no owner to be found at this time. The other dog sustained puncture wound and bruises.

15-003807 Burglary – Residential 20:54:44 07/08/15: Deputy received a report of a burglary that occurred in the 4400 block of Roche Harbor Rd. This case is still under investigation.

15-003814 Court Order Violation 10:18:56 07/09/15: A person violated a no contact order in Eastsound, and the case was forwarded to the prosecutor.

15-003815 Vehicle Prowl 10:56:48 07/09/15: Reporting party states unknown person/s removed fuel from a parked vehicle.

15-003825 Unwanted Person 14:39:29 07/09/15: Deputy was dispatched to Roche Harbor Resort on an unwanted person. Deputy arrived and spoke with guest services who said the person had left. Subject was contacted them a short distance away and the call clearly became a mental health issue. The person was taken to Peace Health, examined by an MHP.

15-003823 Animal Bite 14:40:13 07/09/15: A Lopez deputy responded to a reported dog bite. It was discovered the dog did not actually bite the victim, but was considered at large. Ticket to the owner referred to prosecutor’s office.

15-003824 Theft 14:43:02 07/09/15: A male subject was observed shoplifting in Kings Market. The male was contacted by deputies and placed in custody.

15-003827 Citizen Dispute 17:21:59 07/09/15: An employer went to an ex-employee’s residence to give him his final pay stub. The employee was very aggressive and threatening and the employer wanted to make a written report of the incident.

15-003830 Parking Problem 19:31:48 07/09/15: Deputy saw a vehicle parked and unoccupied parked across the sidewalk in the 100 block of North Beach. The owner returned and was issued an infraction for Illegal Parking. The owner moved the vehicle.

15-003834 Vehicle Prowl 07:37:00 07/10/15: Items were stolen from the back of a pickup in Olga.

15-003835 Theft 08:40:00 07/10/15: Reporting party states her I-Phone 6 was removed from the nurses cart at the Life Care Center.

15-003837 Burglary,NonRes 09:20:15 07/10/15: A business in Eastsound was broken into and items taken. Video identified the suspect, and deputies are looking for that person.

15-003838 Agency Assistance 09:22:48 07/10/15: Marine Patrol deputies investigated a possible hit and run collision between two vessels in Fossil Bay, Sucia Island and recovered the damaged Zodiac Inflatable tender from the beach. Both vessel operators were contacted and the matter resolved without enforcement action.

15-003840 Animal at Large 09:28:22 07/10/15: A report of two large poodles running at large in the Walling Rd neighborhood. The dogs live in Seattle with their owners, they were contacted by phone (phone number on dog tag). The dogs were picked up at a residence in the area, tired but glad to see their owners. Caller contacted.

15-003841 Boating Problem 10:04:59 07/10/15: Marine patrol deputies assisted US Coast Guard with a 20′ Bayliner found adrift off Sandy Point, Waldron Island on July 10, 2015. Vessel had apparently dragged anchor in storm during the night causing it to float away unoccupied.

15-003845 Attempted Suicide 13:35:37 07/10/15: Deputies responded to the area of Barnswallow Way to check on the welfare of a person. The call was unfounded.

15-003853 Animal at Large 16:22:32 07/10/15: A Deputy responded to Whiskey Hill Road regarding a dog at large complaint. The reporting person stated an unaccompanied Pit Bull came on to her property and scared her and her dogs. Deputy located the dog and its owner, who apologized and stated he would keep his dog on a leash in the future.

15-003855 Animal at Large 17:00:50 07/10/15: A Lopez deputy was dispatched for two dogs at large. Warning letters were issued to the owners.

15-003864 Attempted Suicide 21:50:49 07/10/15:  Deputy received a report of an attempted suicide in the jail. The inmate was intercepted before the act could be carried out.

15-003865 Wanted Person 22:29:02 07/10/15: Deputy went to the 300 block of Kurth Road to look for a wanted subject. I found the subject and placed him under arrest based on probable cause in a burglary and theft case the previous night.

15-003868 Domestic Dispute or Assault 00:21:52 07/11/15: Lopez deputies were dispatched to a possible domestic. No probable cause for a crime, and parties were separated for the night.

15-003876 Domestic Dispute or Assault 11:25:35 07/11/15: Citizen reported a domestic dispute in the area of Web Street.

15-003880 Confidential Investigation 13:04:55 07/11/15: The Sheriff’s Office was informed that a subject known to the reporting citizen had a warrant for his arrest. Investigation continues.

15-003879 Weapon Safekeeping 13:06:59 07/11/15: An Eastsound man turned in several guns from his deceased father’s residence.

15-003899 Animal at Large 12:28:12 07/12/15: Deputy received a report of two dogs at large in the 800 block of Boundary Point Rd. The dogs were returned to the owner with a warning letter.

15-003905 Domestic Dispute or Assault 21:45:15 07/12/15: Reporting deputy was dispatched to the parking lot of a local business in reference to a Domestic. The reporting deputy arrived and contacted the victim. The suspect had fled the scene on foot. Investigation continues.

July 13, 2015

15-003913 Malicious Mischief 11:53:00 07/13/15: Deputy contacted the victim via the phone in reference to a Malicious Mischief. The victim reported that her mailbox was damaged over Sunday (07/12/15) evening. No suspect information at this time.

15-003916 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 12:39:48 07/13/15: A Lopez Island man reported that a distraught woman in her 20s was hiding in the woods along his driveway. The woman disappeared before a deputy arrived. The area was checked but the woman was not found.

15-003923 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 21:33:31 07/13/15: Deputy responded to a North Beach Road address on a report of a verbal altercation between a man and woman. Further investigation revealed that the altercation had remained verbal and no crimes had been committed at the time.

July 14, 2015

15-003928 Citizen Dispute 01:04:40 07/14/15: Deputy responded to a reported trespassing in the area of North Beach Road. The suspect had left the property before my arrival. The case is being forwarded to the prosecutor for charging decisions.

15-003939 Harassment 13:31:42 07/14/15: Deputy spoke with a Lopez Island resident regarding a harassment complaint, which resulted from a parenting plan dispute. He determined no crime was committed. The reporting person requested the other parent be told to not return to their property. The other involved parent agreed to not return.

15-003941 Property Damage, Non Vandalism 15:36:24 07/14/15: An Eastsound woman reported her mailbox being damaged after a recent vehicle collision near her residence. Follow-up required.
