July 23, 2015
15-004165 Found Property 12:38:05 07/23/15: An Eastsound woman called to report property she found on the sidewalk.

15-004168 Agency Assistance 16:10:43 07/23/15: Deputy on San Juan Island responded to the Customs dock in the Port of Friday Harbor to take a wanted subject into custody. The subject was booked into jail.

15-004169 Wanted Person 17:41:31 07/23/15: Lopez deputy got a report of a homeless person sleeping on private property. The subject matched the description of a person wanted on local warrants. Deputies contacted the subject and arrested a 37 year old woman on two misdemeanor warrants.

15-004171 Trespassing 21:00:37 07/23/15: Lopez deputy was dispatched to a reported case of trespassing in a vacant vacation home. The deputy collected evidence on scene. Investigation is ongoing.

15-004174 Theft 23:43:39 07/23/15: Deputy wrote a theft case on a stolen Phillips AED unit from the 100 block of North Beach, Eastsound.

July 24, 2015
15-004182 Heart Problem 11:04:57 07/24/15: Deputy responded to Hutton Lane, Lopez Island, to assist Lopez Island Emergency Medical Services with a medical emergency. The patient was subsequently evacuated to a mainland hospital via air ambulance.

15-004188 Agency Assistance 14:56:35: San Juan County Marine Patrol deputies responded to a medical emergency aboard a sailboat north of Sucia Island. A woman on board was exhibiting stroke symptoms. After initial assessment she was transferred to a Coast Guard vessel and transported to a Bellingham hospital.

15-004191 Malicious Mischief 17:45:24 07/24/15: Deputy responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle in Eastsound. No suspect information available at this time.

July 25, 2015
15-004201 Domestic Dispute or Assault 01:59:02 07/25/15: Deputy was dispatched to a Possible Domestic. The reporting deputy arrived and approached on foot. The reporting deputy made contact with the involved parties and found the incident to be unfounded.

15-004206 Theft 11:28:48 07/25/15: A Market umbrella was taken from the main pier at the Port of Friday Harbor. The umbrella was in a cardboard box which measures 8″ x 8″ x6 feet. It is possible that person/s involved in taking this item might have mistaken it for being in or near the free shack.

15-004222 Theft 16:29:58 07/25/15: Lopez deputy was dispatched for a reported theft. Investigation continues.

15-004225 Animal at Large 18:01:58 07/25/15: Deputy received a report of two dogs that were found at large in the area of Beaverton Valley Rd. and No 2 Schoolhouse Rd. The dogs did not have any identifying tags. They were both brought to the animal shelter. It is unknown who they belong to.

15-004226 Accident-HitRun 19:23:38 07/25/15: Deputy received a report of a hit and run accident at Spring St. and Argyle St. The driver of the vehicle was contacted and was cited for hit and run.

July 26, 2015
15-004250 Accident-HitRun 15:24:20 07/26/15: Deputy received a report of a hit and run at circle park. The Deputy contacted everyone involved in the accident and assisted them with exchanging insurance information.

15-004253 Alcohol Offense 17:22:20 07/26/15: Deputy responded to Blanchard Road, Eastsound on a reported alcohol offense. Four persons were found to be involved. One person was on probation with alcohol restrictions. That person was found to have consumed alcohol in violation of his probation.

15-004254 Hazardous Materials Spill 19:11:03 07/26/15: Deputy was dispatched to a report of a sewage spill on Fisherman Bay Road. An Oregon man admitted to striking a sewage main with his boat trailer while leaving his residence. Insurance information collected while fire units decontaminated the roadway.

15-004257 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 23:36:20 07/26/15: Deputy was dispatched to a Suspicious Circumstance. Dispatch advised a flashlight was seen on a construction site. The reporting deputy checked all the buildings on the site but did not locate a problem.

July 27, 2015
15-004259 Found Property 10:04:34 07/27/15: A bicycle was found in Eastsound and turned into the Sheriff’s Office.

15-004265 Found Property 12:01:13 07/27/15: Two guns were found in a rural area on Orcas Island.

15-004276 Wanted Person 17:56:54 07/27/15: Deputy observed a person with wants outside a local business. The reporting deputy contacted the suspect and advised him that he had warrant for his arrest. The suspect fled the area of foot. The reporting deputy was unable to locate the suspect.

15-004278 Accident-NonInj 18:55:56 07/27/15: Deputy responded to a two vehicle accident at Crescent Beach Road and Olga Road. Further investigation that the driver of the at fault vehicle was under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. She was arrested, processed and released with a promise to appear in court.

15-004281 Welfare Check 22:14:11 07/27/15: Deputy was dispatched to the address in reference to a Welfare Check. Dispatch advised the ex husband was worried about a conflict between his ex wife and her roommate. The reporting deputy arrived and contacted all parties. Incident unfounded.

July 28, 2015
15-004284 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 01:46:16 07/28/15: Deputy was dispatched to the area of the ferry landing in reference to a Suspicious Circumstance. The reporting party advised that they heard someone yelling for help. An individual was located and helped to his residence.

15-004286 Welfare Check 07:51:42 07/28/15: Deputy was dispatched to an Eastsound address for a welfare check. Although the subject was not located, there is no belief foul play has occurred at this time.

15-004302 Court Order Violation 19:04:53 07/28/15: A Lopez Island woman reported a protection order violation occurred while riding aboard a Washington State Ferry. The other party on the order allegedly was on the same ferry and engaged in prohibited conduct.
