A Deputy on Orcas responded to a motorcycle accident with injury on Dolphin Bay Rd. The rider had hit a deer and was flown off for their injuries.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a code violation regarding junk vehicles on a property. Photographs were taken of the vehicles and code enforcement was notified of the violation.

At the request of the US Coast Guard, a Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check on a report of a vessel dragging anchor in Hunter Bay. Other vessels in the area, including another law enforcement agency vessel were able to provide assistance.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a washed-up shoe and life vest on a beach. The items were entered into evidence and the US Coast Guard was notified.

A Deputy on Orcas found that a suspect had lied to them on a prior case. A report was taken and probable cause written for Making a false statement to a peace officer.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to the intersection of Terrill Beach Rd and Mt. Baker Rd. Upon arrival Deputies located a vehicle upside down in the pond at the intersection. An investigation was conducted and a fatal accident report involving a solo vehicle and driver was taken.

Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched with the US Coast Guard to a report of paddle boarders in distress on the north side of Orcas Island. The paddle boarders were located with assistance from a land based Orcas Island Fire and Rescue crew, and a helpful island resident.
