15-003526 Found Property 18:56:52 07/01/15: An Orcas deputy was dispatched to the 10 block of Lavender Lane Eastsound in regards to an abandoned BMX bicycle. I went there and found the bicycle. No one was around to claim it. I took possession of the bicycle as found property. It has not been reported stolen.
15-003527 Mental Health 20:37:17 07/01/15: A deputy received a report of a person with mental problems on C St. The person was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

15-003546 Sick or Injured Animal 14:40:32 07/02/15: A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to Roche Harbor to investigate a reported animal in distress. A small puppy was found locked in a vehicle in the sun on a hot day. The dog was taken and a report was written.
15-003553 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 18:28:13 07/02/15: A subject contacted an Orcas deputy at the Orcas Substation in regard to his stolen bicycle that he recently saw. The bicycle was due to be returned to the airport and has not.
15-003556 Noise Complaint /not dogs 18:58:56 07/02/15: A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a noise complaint regarding loud music. The music had ceased by the deputy’s arrival.

15-003572 Vehicle Prowl 10:48:43 07/03/15: Victim reported his prescription drugs were removed from his vehicle.
15-003586 Accident-Injury, Traffic 16:03:36 07/03/15: A deputy responded to an unknown injury traffic collision on Mount Constitution in Moran State Park. Upon arrival it was determined that the driver was not on scene. The driver was later located and determined not injured, but was cited for driving on a revoked license and without required liability
15-003589 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 17:09:35 07/03/15: A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a suspicious circumstance involving a resident and an estranged family member.
15-003595 Theft 19:58:54 07/03/15: A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a reported theft of a sign.
15-003600 Domestic Dispute or Assault 21:25:40 07/03/15: A deputy received a report of a domestic in the 500 block of Tucker Ave. The parties involved had a verbal argument.

15-003618 Traffic Stop 02:04:41 07/04/15: An Orcas Deputy stopped a vehicle for having a person riding on the outside of the vehicle. Further investigation determined there was probable cause to believe the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested, processed and released.
15-003626 Accident-NonInj 11:55:31 07/04/15: During the July 4 parade on Lopez a pedestrian was struck and knocked down by a driver pulling from a parking space. The pedestrian reported no immediate injury. Information collected on the collision.
15-003629 Citizen Dispute 12:48:24 07/04/15: A Deputy responded to Milagra Lane, Lopez for a citizen dispute. The reporting party alleged his neighbors were harassing him. I contacted the neighbors and learned the RP was upset that they had conducted a mandatory inspection of his home, which was part of a residential co-op.
15-003638 Accident-HitRun 16:08:15 07/04/15: Deputies were dispatched to a hit & run accident at the Roche Harbor Resort parking area. The vehicle was examined and photos taken. There are no suspects at this time.
15-003639 Accident-Injury, Traffic 16:32:40 07/04/15: Lopez deputies investigated a two vehicle rollover collision on Mud Bay Rd near Calle Aguila on July 4th about 4:30 p.m. No injuries were reported. One driver was cited for Unsafe Passing on the Right, No Operator’s License, and No Proof of Insurance.
15-003652 Welfare Check 19:08:50 07/04/15: Deputies responded to a reports of threats involving a firearm in the Deer Harbor area of Orcas Island. Deputies arrived and arrested the suspect who was then booked into jail.
15-003658 Threats 20:08:17 07/04/15: Deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of Market Street Eastsound on a rude, belligerent person. No reporting persons made themselves known. I found the suspect and his female companion and they were advised to leave.

15-003682 Animal at Large 00:08:36 07/05/15: A San Juan Deputy received a report of a dog at large. The dog was brought to the Sheriff’s Office by a citizen. The dog was brought to the animal shelter.
15-003691 Domestic Dispute or Assault 07:07:48 07/05/15: A deputy was called out for a verbal domestic. Deputy met with the RP and discussed possible resolutions. Deputy then contacted the other party, who had left the scene earlier. He agreed to stay at a friends and give things time to cool off.
15-003693 Theft 08:07:23 07/05/15: A Burlington man reported the theft of a small outboard motor from a dinghy tied to his boat docked in Fisherman Bay during the night of July 4-5.
15-003698 Accident-HitRun 09:50:59 07/05/15: Vehicle owner reported sometime on the 4th of July someone struck her car’s left rear corner panel, while it was parked at the Friday Harbor Key Bank parking lot. The damage was approx. 36 inches off the ground and the suspect vehicle left white paint transfer. Victim has no suspects at this time.
15-003706 Accident-HitRun 17:25:47 07/05/15: A Deputy received a report of a hit and run accident in the 100 block of Second St. Currently there are no suspects.
15-003710 Runaway Juvenile 20:59:13 07/05/15: A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a runaway juvenile. A juvenile pickup notice was collected.
15-003711 Wanted Person 21:21:15 07/05/15: A Deputy arrested a female on a warrant who came into the station to turn herself in. The female was arrested and was booked into the jail.

15-003724 Disorderly Conduct 12:19:49 07/06/15: A Mount Vernon resident contacted a Lopez Island deputy to report a disturbance that he had been involved in the previous evening at a Lopez Island bar. An information report was taken.
15-003731 Lost Property 15:22:50 07/06/15: Complainant called from Los Angeles, CA to report that she had lost a single diamond earring while visiting friends on Orcas Island. The value of the earring is approx $37,500. A lost/missing property report was emailed to her and requested that she fill it out and fax or email it back.
15-003733 Malicious Mischief 16:02:44 07/06/15: A deputy was dispatched to the Roche Harbor Water Plant in reference to a Malicious Mischief. the reporting deputy arrived and observed that the metal bar gate had been damaged. No evidence or suspect information at this time.
15-003736 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:00:36 07/06/15: Deputies were called to an argument in Eastsound. Parties were separated.
15-003737 Civil Problem 17:46:54 07/06/15: A Lopez deputy assisted with a civil dispute between landlord and tenant.
15-003742 Animal at Large 20:04:48 07/06/15: A deputy responded to Barnswallow Rd in reference to a dog going on to the reporting person’s (RP) property. RP was worried that the dog, which was not currently on her property, might cause problems with her dogs. The RP was advised to call the next time the dog was on the property.

15-003749 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 08:21:12 07/07/15: Key Bank in Friday Harbor called in a suspicious package by their rear door. The suspicious package was found to be a vacuum bag used by landscapers. The bag was disposed of. Case cleared.
15-003755 Found Property 12:29:24 07/07/15: A woman brought a found wallet and contents to Dispatch, stating they had found them on Harrison Street, near their house. She said they had actively looked for the wallet’s owner, going so far as to stop in at the local motorcycle rental
15-003765 Burglary,NonRes 15:31:57 07/07/15: Someone forced entry into a Lopez Island church, damaging the door. Once entry was gained, nothing appeared to be stolen or tampered with. The break-in happened since Sunday afternoon, July 5.
15-003768 Harassment 16:29:39 07/07/15: A Lopez Island woman reported being harassed/stalked by a Lopez Island man.
15-003776 Controlled Substance Problem 20:25:21 07/07/15: A deputy was dispatched to a business on Spring St in reference to Drugs. The reporting deputy arrived and located the vehicle but it was unoccupied. There was evidence of marijuana use in the vehicle. Unable to locate the register owner of the vehicle at the business.
15-003778 Traffic Stop 20:53:15 07/07/15: A Deputy executed a traffic stop on A Street in Eastsound. The driver of the vehicle became resistive leading to a brief scuffle. The suspect was apprehended and is being held on resisting arrest, obstructing a law enforcement officer, and driving under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.
