21-000130 Civil Problem 07:27:28 01/06/21
A Deputy responded to a request of a civil standby to get belongings from a relatives residence. The caller retrieve the belongings without incident and the owner of the residence trespassed the caller and the callers boyfriend. Trespass letter served, report made.

21-000133 Malicious Mischief 09:32:43 01/06/21
A Deputy responded to a report of vandalism in Friday Harbor. After speaking with the caller it was determined there were no witnesses, no suspect information, no video surveillance, and no workable leads. Photos were taken of the damage and a report made.

21-000135 Harassment 10:49:06 01/06/21
A Lopez Island Deputy was called to take a report of verbal harassment. An information report was taken.

21-000137 Citizen Dispute 11:22:53 01/06/21
San Juan Deputies responded to a citizen dispute. The reporting party was interviewed, and evidence was documented; the offending party had left prior to arrival. This case is ongoing.

21-000147 Found Property 15:03:25 01/06/21
A Deputy responded to a found property call involving a found Ford key. An owner was unable to be located and the key was entered into the property and evidence room. Report made.

21-000159 Burglary – Residential 20:28:25 01/06/21
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a burglary call. A report was taken.

21-000160 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 20:50:03 01/06/21
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person. The incident was documented.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 7
21-000193 Citizen Assist 18:28:54 01/07/21
A Lopez Island Deputy spoke with a resident regarding an on-going domestic dispute. The reporting person, who did not want to file a formal complaint, said they were in a verbally abusive dating relationship. The Deputy encouraged the caller to call SAFE San Juans to get additional advice.

21-000194 Domestic Dispute or Assault 19:24:25 01/07/21
Lopez Deputies responded to a domestic call. Deputies talked with both parties who had engaged in a disagreement. Deputies established that no violence had occurred, and no threats had been made. The two parties reached a peaceful resolution.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 8
21-000215 Domestic Dispute or Assault 13:26:59 01/08/21
A citizen called 911 reporting a verbal disturbance between a male and female at the Overlook Park on West Street. Deputies responded and determined the pair were domestic partners, but the disturbance was verbal only. Both parties released at the scene.

21-000218 Citizen Dispute 14:06:07 01/08/21
[A Deputy] was on duty as a Deputy with the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office. I was in uniform and driving my marked patrol vehicle. I was assigned to a citizen dispute call. The notes in the call stated that a 16-year-old is getting out of control with the family. No one is hurt,

SATURDAY, JANUARY 9
21-000247 Domestic Dispute or Assault 11:09:48 01/09/21
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to a reported domestic disturbance. No evidence of a prosecutable crime was observed. One of the involved parties found another place to stay for a few days. An information
report was taken.

21-000253 Parking Problem 12:52:45 01/09/21
A Lopez Island Deputy ticketed an unattended vehicle left in the ferry line as the 1245 sailing to Anacortes was loading.

21-000257 Vicious Animal 14:29:03 01/09/21
A Lopez Island Deputy to a report from a group of hikers that a dog running loose had stalked and attempted to bite one of them at one of the island parks. The dog did not heed repeated calls from the owner to return despite pleas from the hikers.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 10
21-000285 Trespassing 10:04:55 01/10/21
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a trespassing call near the ferry landing. The suspect was given a Trespass Warning Letter.

21-000286 Malicious Mischief 10:52:09 01/10/21
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a property damage call near Eastsound. A report was taken and referred to the prosecutors office.

21-000290 Accident-HitRun 13:51:13 01/10/21
A Lopez Island Deputy was called about a hit and run/property damage to a vehicle that had occurred in the past 48 hours. A report was taken.

MONDAY, JANUARY 11
21-000308 Citizen Assist 18:50:49 01/11/21
A reporting Deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Assist in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy made contact with the caller. The caller advised there was a problem with a roommate. No crimes were found to have been committed but an informational report was taken.

21-000309 DUI 18:59:28 01/11/21
Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched to a possible DUI. The subject was located and was arrested for DUI. A report was taken.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 12
21-000316 Fraud 08:47:06 01/12/21
A Deputy responded to a walk-in report of a fraud in Friday Harbor. The male reported being the victim of a phone scam & sending money via UPS to an unknown person in California. Shipment of the money was stopped, returned to the victim, and no loss incurred. Report made.

21-000321 Alarm 10:56:06 01/12/21
A Deputy responded to a residential alarm in Friday Harbor. The Deputy found no signs of forced entry or burglary and an informational report was completed. Nobody was home at the time and attempts to contact the homeowner were unsuccessful.

21-000322 Animal at Large 11:25:53 01/12/21
A Deputy responded to a report of a neighbor’s loose calf on the callers property. The calf returned to it’s property and the owner was contacted and advised to check and fix any holes in the fence to keep his cattle on his property. Report made.

21-000324 Accident-NonInj 11:57:10 01/12/21
A Deputy was dispatched to a Single Vehicle Traffic Accident in the San Juan Island area. A single vehicle had left the roadway and drove through a fence. There were no injuries. Report taken.
