A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a school bus stop sign violation. The Deputy was unable to locate the violator at this time.
18-000560 Traffic Stop 16:33:51 01/24/18
An Orcas Island Deputy stopped a vehicle on Enchanted Forest Road. The driver was subsequently arrested for an out of county warrant. He was issued a criminal citation for driving with a suspended license. He was also cited for speed 42 MPH in a 25 MPH zone.

A Deputy was contacted at the Sheriff’s Office in reference to a Burglary that occurred in the Friday Harbor area. The person reported a business was entered and cash was taken. Investigation continues.
18-000563 Runaway Juvenile 19:52:00 01/24/18
A Deputy was contacted at the Sheriff’s Office in reference to a Juvenile Runaway in the San Juan Island area. The caller reported their daughter left their residence and had not returned. Juvenile pick up order was signed. Investigation continues.

A Lopez Deputy was dispatched to a dog at large complaint involving a dog running amongst the caller’s horses. The owner was located and a dog at large infraction was issued.
18-000589 Agency Assistance 21:43:31 01/26/18
A Deputy responded to a Lopez Island business to assist EMS with a combative patient. It was determined the involved person was highly intoxicated. There was no evidence of a crime. A report was completed.

A Deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area in reference to an Unwanted Person. The reporting Deputy arrived and made contact with the involved persons. One person was arrested for Minor Possessing or Consuming Alcohol. Investigation continues…

Deputies responded to four interrelated cases of Minor In Possession (MIP), Theft, Threats and Assault. All four incidents are under investigation at this time, with one arrest for MIP.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Mental Health issue in the San Juan Island area. The subject left the area on foot and then fled when contacted by deputies. Investigation continues…
18-000674 Theft 10:57:55 01/30/18
A Deputy took a report of a mail theft on Orcas Island. The victims reported having a package stolen from their mailbox. The case is under further investigation.
