A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a hit and run collision. The victim was able to obtain a license plate from the vehicle that hit them and the Deputy located the subject and arrested them for hit and run and possession of a controlled substance.

A Lopez Island Deputy took a theft report from a resident for a package that was reportedly delivered but never received.

A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to someone who dropped a cell phone off they had found. The cell phone was booked into the evidence room as found property.

A Deputy on Orcas Island spoke to a person claiming to be the victim of a domestic violence assault. An investigation was conducted. The Deputy determined sufficient probable cause existed to support the claim and the suspect was arrested.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a report of a traffic collision. Both parties were provided an exchange of information.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a Kidnapping complaint. The complainant had received a telephone call from someone in distress claiming to be a relative of his. Another person demanded money. The caller recognized the call as a likely scam and reported the incident to the Sheriff’s Office.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Single Vehicle Traffic Accident in the San Juan Island area. Incident is under investigation.

A Deputy on Orcas took a report of a possible kidnapping. A citizen reported hearing a female in distress who he recognized by voice. The female was known to be living South of Seattle. Through cooperating agencies, we discovered the report to be false and most likely an attempted scam.

A Deputy took a report of a stolen vehicle from the Eastsound area. Through further investigation, suspects have been identified. The case is ongoing.

A Deputy responded to a walk in complaint of trespassing. A trespass letter was completed and later served to the individual involved. No further investigation.

A Deputy responded to a suspicious circumstance call on San Juan Island. The caller requested four people be trespassed from her property. One person was located and trespassed and Deputies are attempting to locate the others and serve the trespass letters.
