26-000405 Attempted Suicide 07:39:54 01/21/26
An Orcas Island Deputy and Orcas Island Fire and Rescue responded to a mental health crisis. The subject of the incident was transported to a hospital for an evaluation. The Deputy contacted the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team and documented the incident.

26-000409 Burglary – Residential 09:09:19 01/21/26
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a burglary. No loss was incurred, and no items were damaged. This investigation is ongoing.

26-000412 Accident-NonInj 09:51:20 01/21/26
An Orcas Island Deputy along with Orcas Island Fire and Rescue responded to a non-injury vehicle collision near the 100 block of Mt. Baker Rd. The driver was experiencing a medical emergency, and the roadway was slick from ice. The driver was transported to a hospital and the incident was documented.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a report from a Lopez church attendee who was receiving fraudulent emails that were impersonating their pastor. The impersonator was asking church members to buy gift cards. The church was alerted, and no money was lost.

26-000423 Litter/Pollution/Public Health 16:40:08 01/21/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a littering incident at a restaurant in Eastsound. The Deputy learned that a possible theft of services incident occurred by the suspect using the restaurant’s waste disposal system without permission. The incident was documented.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 22
26-000431 Mental Health 01:52:39 01/22/26
A Lopez Deputy responded a report of an individual experiencing a mental breakdown. The individual wandered on foot in the middle of the night and entered a friend’s house unannounced. They were given a ride and placed under family supervision while deciding next steps.

26-000432 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 07:39:17 01/22/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a suspicious incident involving juvenile’s welfare at an apartment complex in Eastsound. The Deputy learned that no crime was committed, and the incident was documented.

26-000435 Unwanted Person 09:18:21 01/22/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an unwanted person in the downtown, Eastsound area. The Deputy learned that the subject was experiencing a mental health crisis. The Deputy notified the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) to help the subject. The incident was documented.

A Lopez Deputy knocked on a Lopez citizen’s door while they were on the phone with someone actively trying to scam them. The Deputy assisted the citizen in disconnecting the call and freezing all their financial assets before any of the fraudulent transactions could occur.

26-000443 Domestic Dispute or Assault 15:36:11 01/22/26
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a domestic incident in the Eastsound area. The incident was reported by a third party and the Deputies learned no crime was committed. The subject has a history of mental health disorder, resources were contacted for follow-up with the subject.

26-000455 Mental Health 08:26:09 01/23/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a person suffering from A mental health disorder in Eastsound. The Deputy learned that person committed self-harm. The person was placed into protective custody and transported to a hospital.

26-000460 Citizen Assist 10:50:27 01/23/26
A Lopez Deputy served a temporary no contact order issued by a neighboring jurisdiction.

26-000471 Citizen Assist 15:59:41 01/23/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a citizen assist incident near the Moran State Park area. The Deputy learned that someone has been burglarizing rooms inside an apartment complex from inside the apartment’s attic. The incident was documented.

26-000476 Trespassing 18:21:04 01/23/26
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of trespassing involving a transient individual harassing a business owner. The individual was later trespassed from multiple locations.

26-000478 Litter/Pollution/Public Health 21:45:40 01/23/26
A San Juan Deputy located an individual and attempted to serve trespass notices to them. The individual threw the papers on the ground and was issued infractions for littering and smoking cannabis in public.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 24
26-000487 Domestic Dispute or Assault 12:10:09 01/24/26
A Lopez man assaulted a female he formerly dated. Multiple charges were sent to the court.

26-000504 Citizen Assist 21:40:38 01/24/26
A Deputy on Orcas Island assisted a citizen with an unwanted individual on their property. They were advised of their options, and an informational report was generated.

26-000505 Accident-NonInj 21:52:21 01/24/26
San Juan Deputies arrested an 18 year old female for driving under the influence, reckless driving, hit and run, and minor in possession.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 25
26-000513 Accident-NonInj 14:40:48 01/25/26
Two vehicles were involved in a non-injury collision on Lopez Island. A report was completed.

26-000520 Attempted Suicide 18:41:09 01/25/26
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a suicidal person. The person was brought to the ER for treatment.

MONDAY, JANUARY 26
26-000529 Agency Assistance 11:37:48 01/26/26
Adult Protective Services reported possible financial abuse on a Friday Harbor resident. After speaking with the adult victim, no statement was made and he is working with his bank.

26-000534 Wanted Person 14:25:15 01/26/26
An individual turned themselves in at the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office. The individual was booked into jail.

26-000539 Trespassing 14:57:24 01/26/26
Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a trespassing complaint.

26-000545 Theft 16:54:56 01/26/26
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of theft of mail. This case is still under investigation.

26-000546 Agency Assistance 19:19:35 01/26/26
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a juvenile problem. The Deputy talked with the juvenile, parent, and was in touch with San Juan County Juvenile services.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 27
26-000551 Trespassing 09:13:03 01/27/26
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a trespassing complaint. The property owner completed a trespass warning letter. The incident was documented.

26-000557 Found Property 14:50:08 01/27/26
A Deputy on San Juan Island booked a crab pot into evidence as found property. It had been located by another Deputy on a prior date. It is unknown who the crab pot belongs to.

26-000558 Accident-HitRun 15:34:49 01/27/26
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a hit-and-run complaint. After investigating, the Deputy determined there was a misunderstanding due to a language barrier and no crime had been committed. An exchange of information was  facilitated.

26-000562 Domestic Dispute or Assault 21:16:24 01/27/26
Lopez Island Deputies were dispatched to a report of Domestic Violence. An investigation occurred and a report was taken.
