A Deputy responded to a call back report of what was reported to dispatch as a threats call. Investigation revealed that there was no law violation and a report was made to document the incident.
21-000354 Traffic Hazard 08:44:51 01/13/21
January 13, 2021. A Lopez Island Deputy discovered a downed tree partially blocking the road and cleared the roadway.
21-000359 Agency Assistance 11:37:02 01/13/21
San Juan Deputies responded to a request for an Outside Agency assist. Adult Protective Services requested a welfare check of an individual in Friday Harbor. The person was found to be okay and reported no criminal activity. They were in contact with local assistance already.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of suspicious circumstances. After investigation, no crime appeared to have occurred. The incident was documented in a report.

Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched to a citizen dispute in the Eastsound area. A report was taken.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a complaint of vandalism to a vehicle over a 24-hour time frame. Investigation was completed. No evidence, witnesses or suspects were identified.
21-000393 Citizen Dispute 11:10:03 01/14/21
A Deputy responded to a citizen complaint about being harassed by another community member at the complainant’s home. No crime was committed, and the complainant was instructed on possible civil actions to take.
21-000396 Accident-HitRun 12:22:20 01/14/21
1/14/2021 Deputy investigated a reported hit-and-run to a community member’s vehicle. No suspect information known. Report made.

San Juan Deputies were advised of an incident of Fraud. The incident was investigated and a report generated.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a domestic in Friday Harbor. No crime appeared to have occurred and the incident was documented.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a theft call. The investigation is ongoing.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a death investigation. It does not appear that the death was suspicious in nature and a report was made.
21-000420 Domestic Dispute or Assault 11:22:11 01/15/21
A Deputy on Orcas was dispatched to a reporting party that wanted to speak about a domestic that happened over a month ago. A report was taken and follow up is required with possible witnesses.

21-000470 Citizen Assist 16:08:25 01/16/21
I was on duty as a Deputy with the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office. I was in uniform and driving my marked patrol vehicle. I was assigned to a citizen assist call. The notes in the call stated that a woman was trespassing on private property.

21-000513 Mental Health 06:13:55 01/18/21
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to an early morning disturbance call outside a residence and found a subject in a mental health crisis. EMS was summoned and the patient was evaluated and transported to a hospital.
21-000522 Communications Problem 10:55:35 01/18/21
A San Juan resident reported receiving an early-morning lewd text on a cell phone. The investigation is ongoing.
21-000523 Welfare Check 11:45:25 01/18/21
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check on a subject after a friend was unable to reach them for a couple of days. The person was contacted and found in good health and asked to call their concerned friend. No further action was necessary.
21-000528 Malicious Mischief 14:18:52 01/18/21
A Deputy on Orcas Island investigated a vandalism. The investigation is ongoing.
21-000543 Accident-Injury, Traffic 22:49:12 01/18/21
A Lopez Deputy responded to a single vehicle collision. Charges were sent to the court for driving with a suspended license and failure to use an ignition interlock device.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a threats call in Eastsound. A report was taken.
21-000552 Vehicle Prowl 09:25:43 01/19/21
On 01-19-21 a Deputy on Orcas responded to a vehicle prowl on Quarry Lane. A report was taken and there are no suspects at this time.
21-000553 Fraud 09:30:05 01/19/21
A Deputy responded to a phone report of a fraud that occurred outside of San Juan County Jurisdiction. The Deputy completed a report and forwarded it to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
21-000563 Burglary,NonRes 14:26:11 01/19/21
On 01-19-21 a Deputy on Orcas responded to a burglary of a business near Map Corner. A report was taken and there are no suspects at this time.
21-000574 Wanted Person 18:55:14 01/19/21
On 01/19/2021, San Juan Deputies located and arrested a subject with a Department of Corrections warrant. They were transported to the Sheriff’ Office and booked into jail.
