A Deputy responded to a one car non-injury collision in Friday Harbor. Information was gathered, car towed, and report made.

18-000876 Found Property 13:11:31 02/07/18
A complainant brought an iPhone to Dispatch, stating he had found it on the street at the location given. Complainant stated that he “cleaned up” the phone, and charged it. The phone has a password security system, which prevented determination of the name of an owner.

18-000877 Found Property 14:33:09 02/07/18
A Deputy in Friday Harbor took custody of a found bike. It is unknown who the bike belongs to, so the bike was booked into evidence for safe keeping.

18-000881 Wanted Person 15:38:13 02/07/18
A Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a driver who was known to have a warrant. The vehicle was stopped, the driver was arrested and was later able to post bail. The suspect was released with a promise to appear in court.

18-000882 Assault – Aggravated 15:46:29 02/07/18
Lopez Island deputies responded to a reported assault that had occurred in a parking lot. After interviewing the involved parties and witnesses, a Lopez Island woman was arrested for Assault IV and later released with a citation to appear in court on that charge.

18-000889 Accident-Injury, Traffic 22:25:21 02/07/18
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched, along with OIFR, to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Orcas Road and Langell Lane. The driver, a local man, is suspected to have been driving under the influence. The investigation is ongoing.

18-000901 Accident-Injury, Traffic 14:39:24 02/08/18
A Deputy responded to a roll over vehicle collision on Deer Harbor Road on Orcas Island. The driver of the vehicle reportedly fell asleep while driving. There were no injuries or other property damage other than the involved vehicle. A collision report was completed.

18-000902 Parking Problem 15:03:13 02/08/18 
A Lopez deputy responded to a complaint of a vehicle abandoned for several months in the village. Deputies will attempt to contact the owner before issuing an abandoned vehicle / littering infraction.

18-000903 Controlled Substance Problem 15:19:23 02/08/18
A Deputy responded to a report of drug activity in Eastsound. Upon arrival, the suspect was gone. A witness provided a statement. The case is under further investigation.

18-000911 Trespassing 09:15:12 02/09/18
A deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area in reference to a Trespassing. The reporting deputy arrived and contacted the caller. The caller reported a vehicle being on the private roadway. Report taken.

18-000913 Vicious Animal 10:33:47 02/09/18
A deputy was contacted by a citizen in reference to a Dog at Large. The person reported a neighbor’s dogs had been on her property earlier in the week. Investigation continues.

18-000915 Trespassing 11:41:57 02/09/18
A deputy was contacted by a citizen in reference to a Trespass in the Friday Harbor area. The citizen wanted a record of an ex-employee being trespassed from his business. Report Taken.

18-000921 Citizen Assist 18:47:53 02/09/18
Deputies investigated a domestic dispute. The incident did not rise to an arrest and a report is on file.

18-000923 Juvenile Problem 19:17:42 02/09/18
A deputy on Orcas was contacted about a juvenile runaway. Multiple locations were searched as there was no specific known location. The juvenile was found the next morning on San Juan.

A deputy was dispatched to a Single Vehicle Traffic Accident in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting deputy contacted the witness and the driver at the scene. Report taken on the incident. Investigation
continues.

18-000928 Juvenile Problem 09:52:40 02/10/18
A deputy was contacted in reference to a Juvenile Problem. Another agency requested a juvenile be picked up for violation of a court order. The juvenile was picked up and taken into custody.

18-000929 Assault – Body Force 10:49:38 02/10/18
Deputies on Orcas responded to an assault that had just occurred. A report was taken.

Deputies investigated a possible order violation. Deputies investigated the incident and found no
violation took place.

18-000941 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 20:55:05 02/10/18
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a suspicious circumstance. It was reported that a person was trying to open doors of businesses. The suspect was contacted and this case is still under investigation

18-000943 Runaway Juvenile 23:05:42 02/10/18
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a juvenile runaway. The juvenile was entered into the system as a runaway.

Deputies responded to a residence in Friday Harbor to assist with a disoriented male.

A Lopez deputy was requested for a welfare check in the village. The person was located and a report was completed.

A deputy was contacted in reference to a Hit and Run in the Friday Harbor area. Informational report taken.

18-000988 Accident-NonInj 14:29:44 02/12/18
A Deputy responded to a minor two-car collision on Bailer Hill Rd. Upon investigation, it was found that neither of the drivers were injured and both had valid insurance. The information was gathered and a collision report made.

A Lopez Island deputy investigated a 911 hang up call. Noproblem was found at the source of the call.

18-001024 Citizen Assist 13:47:05 02/13/18
A Lopez Island deputy assisted a local woman who had locked her keys in her car in the Village. With some expert help with the right tool, the keys were rescued.
