An Orcas Deputy took a report of harassment. The incident was investigated, and charges will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to Found Property. The incident was documented.

25-001101 Citizen Assist 13:44:10 02/26/25
I was contacted by the owner of the Coffee House located at 254 North Beach Rd. regarding a subject entering the business and causing a disturbance.

25-001102 Unwanted Person 13:56:35 02/26/25
A Lopez Deputy received a report of a light being switched on in what was supposed to be an unoccupied trailer. No one was discovered to be inside the trailer. The incident was documented.

25-001104 Lost Property 15:01:13 02/26/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of lost property. A report was completed.

25-001105 Citizen Assist 15:12:51 02/26/25
An Orcas Island Deputy assisted a local business with trespassing an individual from their business. The individual was screaming and kicking the door of the business which subsequently scared the employee and patrons.

25-001106 Weapons Offense 15:49:04 02/26/25
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a possible weapons offense at a local business. It was determined to be a verbal argument that did not involve a firearm. An informational report was taken.

25-001112 Wanted Person 21:37:09 02/26/25
San Juan Deputies located a person with an active Department of Corrections warrant for escape community custody. The individual was arrested and booked into jail.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 27
25-001122 Unwanted Person 11:56:02 02/27/25
A Deputy was contacted about a Trespass in the Friday Harbor area. One person was served with a Trespass Letter. Report taken.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28
25-001145 Juvenile Problem 12:41:44 02/28/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a juvenile problem. Upon arrival, Deputies found four juveniles in possession of cannabis. Deputies seized the cannabis and notified the juveniles’ guardians. The case will be forwarded to the prosecutor and juvenile court for review.

25-001151 Fraud 15:32:49 02/28/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of fraud. Deputies investigated the matter and found a loss was incurred but no suspect information was available. The victim was assisted with identity theft protection information and a victim statement was entered into the case.

25-001153 Citizen Assist 16:13:14 02/28/25
A former Lopez resident called regarding property left behind at at rental home in 2023. They were advised this was a civil issue between them and the former landlord.

SATURDAY, MARCH 1
25-001181 Vicious Animal 16:40:24 03/01/25
A Lopez Deputy took a report of a dog escaping from a vehicle while in line at the ferry terminal. The escape attempt was short lived, and the dog was recovered.

SUNDAY, MARCH 2
25-001192 Domestic Dispute or Assault 10:42:50 03/02/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a residence on Roche Harbor Road regarding a domestic incident. Upon arrival, Deputies determined that it was verbal and no crime had occurred. No action taken

25-001195 Domestic Dispute or Assault 14:17:40 03/02/25
Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a domestic dispute. No crime was committed. A report was authored for documentation purposes.

25-001208 Citizen Assist 09:09:09 03/03/25
A Lopez resident sought guidance on a civil real estate issue.

25-001209 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 10:29:11 03/03/25
An Orcas Island Deputy served a subject a Trespass Warning Letter barring him from the property of the Orcas Christian School.

25-001210 Theft 11:38:30 03/03/25
An Orcas Island Deputy took a report of an alleged theft of scaffolding equipment that occurred sometime within the last year. The victim alleged over $10,000 in property was taken. There is no suspect information and no investigative leads.

25-001211 Citizen Assist 12:10:48 03/03/25
An Orcas Island Deputy was contacted by a local resident who is being Cyber Stalked by a subject from their past. Information was gathered and a documentation report was authored. No crime had been committed at the time of the report.
