A Lopez Island Deputy responded to an unwanted person complaint in the area of 1100 Ferry Road on 02/10/16. The Deputy determined the complaint involved a landlord and her tenant, who was planning to move out. There was no crime and both involved persons agreed to avoid one another in the future.

Deputies had to remove an inmate from a holding cell and place him in isolation due to his hostile behavior towards other inmates and staff. Prior to entering the cell the problem inmate flooded the cell.

A SJC Sheriff Deputy happened upon a rollover vehicle collision on Olga Road. Three persons on scene were interviewed. The driver of the vehicle was not able to be identified. A second vehicle had been abandoned blocking access to a roadway. Both vehicles were impounded.

A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a possible residential burglary. The investigation indicated the subject was a friend securing possessions for a property owner who is currently incarcerated.

A Stuart island resident reported his float and the boat attached to it had been stolen from Prevost Harbor. He felt the mooring set up was too strong to break. The boat and float were placed on the ‘watch for’ list. On 02-15 it was reported the boat and float were found, drifted to shore.

A deputy responded to a domestic problem, with a couple separating and items were being put out of the apartment. The female was told that if she damaged any of the items it would be a criminal offense. She denied any damage and continued to put out items.
