An Orcas Deputy responded to a report of fraud involving an EBT card. A report was taken.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of found property in Friday Harbor. A citizen had lost their passport in a parking lot. The owner was contacted, but it was learned they are off island and won’t be back the same day. The passport was submitted into evidence as found property.

An Orcas Deputy responded to report of vessel left at the Obstruction Pass county dock for the last month. The responsible person was contacted and said they would move the vessel.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a theft call. An outgoing package left at a mailbox on Fisherman Bay Road went missing. A report was taken.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was located at a friend’s residence and reunited with their parent.
22-008667 Domestic Dispute or Assault 21:38:35 12/07/22
Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a domestic dispute. No crime had been committed. One of the involved found an alternative place to stay for the night and was provided a courtesy ride to that location.

22-008677 Fraud 15:22:39 12/08/22
A San Juan Deputy took a report of fraud. The reporting party advised his bank had stopped payment on several suspicious charges and advised him to report the incident to law enforcement. No suspect information was available and the incident was documented.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a package theft. There are no workable leads and the incident was documented.
22-008683 Accident-NonInj 17:36:31 12/08/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a non-injury collision. The driver was issued an infraction for driving with wheels off roadway and was given additional warnings. No signs of impairment were observed.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to the 7000 block of Orcas Rd for a call of threats being made over Facebook. An investigation was conducted, and it was determined no crime was committed. A report was authored.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10
22-008707 Heart Problem 08:41:07 12/10/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to the jail for a medical issue. San Juan EMS evaluated the patient and the incident was documented.
22-008721 Trespassing 14:01:26 12/10/22
A Deputy on Orcas Island was dispatched to a report of a trespass. Surveillance video was provided and subjects appeared to leave shortly after arriving without disturbing anything on the property. No crime was seen to have been committed.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a court order violation in Friday Harbor. Investigation revealed the respondent knowingly violated the order. The suspect was unable to be located and charges were sent to the Prosecutor.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a barking dog complaint. The owner was issued a verbal warning.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11
22-008742 Traffic Violation 17:46:05 12/11/22
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of an erratic driver. The driver was located and was subsequently arrested for suspected DUI. The driver admitted to using an illegal substance prior to driving and a search warrant for blood was granted by a judge. A report was completed.

22-008745 Missing Person 08:13:09 12/12/22
A Deputy responded to a report of a missing person regarding the caller being unable to locate her adult brother. The caller called back to dispatch few minutes later stating she located her brother, he was not in need of assistance.
22-008747 Theft 10:24:17 12/12/22
Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a theft. Frog Song Trl street sign was stolen. There are no workable leads or suspects at this time. The incident was documented.
22-008748 Trespassing 10:28:21 12/12/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island was dispatched to a report of a theft at Kings Market. The manager of Kings stated they had footage of a person stealing from the store and wished to have them trespassed. A trespass warning letter was issued.

A Deputy responded to a report of a non injury accident involving two pickup trucks. Both drivers had valid drivers licenses and insurance and a state collision report was completed. Report made.
22-008787 Domestic Dispute or Assault 16:58:30 12/13/22
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a possible domestic near Eastsound. After an investigation was completed, it was found that no crime had been committed and it was verbal only.
