A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a lost property. The Deputy determined that the property was most likely stolen. This case is still under investigation.

17-008975 Wanted Person 19:07:38 12/27/17
A wanted subject was located by deputies on San Juan Island and taken into custody. The warrant was for failure to appear for Driving while intoxicated out of Enumclaw, WA.

A deputy responded to a welfare check on a male after someone suspected a domestic violence assault had occurred.

17-008995 Citizen Dispute 13:06:40 12/28/17
A Friday Harbor resident walked into the station to report a dispute she had with another Friday Harbor resident. The reporting party just wanted documentation in the form of a report. The Deputy gathered the information and completed an information report.

17-008996 Malicious Mischief 13:14:49 12/28/17
An Orcas Deputy responded to a vandalism call. The property owners had been away for the holiday and their street sign had been run over by an unknown vehicle. A report and photographs were taken. No suspects at this time.

A San Juan Island resident reported a package was stolen from his mailbox at the North end of San Juan Island. Investigation continues

A Deputy took a report of a stolen bicycle that occurred within the Town of Friday Harbor.

A citizen reported his bicycle was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in Friday Harbor.

17-009011 Sick or Injured Animal 11:59:24 12/29/17
A Lopez resident called to report a severely injured deer on MacKaye Harbor Road. A deputy responded and euthanized the deer.

17-009024 Domestic Dispute or Assault 23:26:14 12/29/17
Deputies on Orcas were approached about a possible domestic that had occurred some time earlier in the night. All parties were interviewed and photographs were taken. A report was written.

17-009027 Fraud 08:44:14 12/30/17
A Friday Harbor citizen called to report credit card fraud. A fraudulent $8,568.92 charge had been made. The credit card company had already detected this and stopped payment, but wanted the victim to file a local report as well.

New report on derelict vessel on the spit that State Parks is trying
to dispose of. Coast Guard advised vessel has been there about 3 months.

17-009037 Animal at Large 15:03:34 12/30/17
A Lopez Island deputy was called to a business in Lopez Village regarding a dog running at large. The dog was captured by the reporting party. The dog was returned to the owner, who explained that it had escaped from the car at the grocery store. No further action was necessary.

Deputies located and identified a wanted person walking in Eastsound. The subject was arrested without incident and transported via patrol boat to Friday Harbor Jail.

A Deputy responded to a report of a found bike in Friday Harbor. The bike was submitted to the property room for safe keeping and an information report made.

18-000020 Threats 13:29:37 01/01/18
A Deputy responded to a report of a Threat on San Juan Island. Upon arrival the deputy found that the caller only wanted an information report made. The Deputy gathered the needed information and completed an information report.

18-000029 Overdose 17:52:51 01/01/18
Lopez deputies and EMS personnel responded to an overdose incident. The person was transferred off island for further medical care.

18-000031 Threats 18:51:19 01/01/18
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a threats call. A report was taken.

18-000051 Trespassing 13:50:36 01/02/18
Deputies arrived at a property on San Juan Island to investigate a report of trespassing. Investigation continues.

18-000060 Court Order Violation 18:41:50 01/02/18
A Deputy conducted an area check on a Lopez Island bar and observed a patron inside that was on probation for prior criminal convictions. The involved person violated the conditions of his probation by being at an establishment that sold alcohol. A report was forwarded to the Prosecutor.
