18-009712 Civil Problem 15:53:55 12/26/18
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a harassment call at a local business. Upon investigation the incident was determined to be civil. An informational report was taken.

18-009713 Found Property 16:42:17 12/26/1
A Lopez Island Deputy received a credit card that was found along the road. It will be held for safekeeping until the owner is located.

18-009716 Wanted Person 17:04:27 12/26/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a Wanted Person in Friday Harbor. The wanted person was taken in custody for two active San Juan County Warrants.

18-009720 Trespassing 19:55:34 12/26/18
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of trespassing. A DV-No Contact Order was in place between the parties. The offending party was later arrested and booked into jail on numerous charges.

18-009721 Trespassing 20:07:41 12/26/18
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a report of a prowler outside a residence. No trespasser was found on the property or in the area.

18-009724 Malicious Mischief 00:01:34 12/27/18

An Orcas Deputy responded to a vandalism call in the village green public restrooms. Photographs were taken of the graffiti. No suspects at this time.

18-009725 Domestic Dispute or Assault 07:27:53 12/27/18
Deputies responded to an Eastsound residence on a reported domestic violence dispute. It was discovered that two roommates had been in a verbal argument. No assaults had occurred. The persons agreed to separate for the time being. An informational report was completed.

18-009731 Wanted Person 14:41:14 12/27/18
A Deputy on San Juan located a wanted subject. After a brief chase the subject was taken into custody for order violation, burglary and resisting arrest.

18-009739 Assault – Body Force 19:46:37 12/27/18
Deputies were dispatched to a possible Assault that had just occurred. An informational report was taken.

18-009745 Accident-NonInj 06:32:03 12/28/18

A Deputy responded to a commercial vehicle accident on Orcas. The driver lost control of the tractor/trailer combination into a ditch. When he tried to correct the vehicle, it slid across the roadway and damaged a fence. No injuries occurred. The vehicle was recovered.

18-009750 Welfare Check 13:16:36 12/28/18
A Lopez Deputy checked the welfare of a man who was reported to have been involved in a minor traffic incident.

18-009752 Fraud 13:56:26 12/28/18
A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Fraud that occurred in the San Juan Island area. The person provided information about possible computer fraud. Report taken.

18-009754 DUI 15:55:30 12/28/18
Orcas Deputies responded to a possible DUI near Eastsound. After an investigation was completed the driver was arrested for DUI and driving on a suspended license.

18-009759 Threats 18:43:53 12/28/18
An Orcas Deputy took a report of threats. The investigation is still ongoing.

18-009787 Traffic Hazard 15:37:25 12/29/18

A Lopez Island Deputy found a disabled vehicle partially blocking a road. The owner was contacted, and was awaiting parts coming on the ferry to repair the vehicle so it could be removed.

18-009794 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 20:12:20 12/29/18
A Deputy on San Juan located a wanted subject. The subject was booked on two counts of possession of heroin and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a citizen assist call in the Eastsound area. A report was taken.

18-009811 Trespassing 10:31:28 12/30/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a Trespassing in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy made contact and a report was taken.

18-009818 Animal at Large 14:38:21 12/30/18
A Lopez Island resident picked up two dogs running at large on the south end and delivered them to the main fire station when there was no Deputy at the substation. The Deputy was called to kennel the dogs until the owner could claim them.

18-009832 Citizen Dispute 10:22:33 12/31/18

A Deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Dispute in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy arrived and worked out an agreement between the involved people. Report taken.

18-009836 Alarm 11:56:20 12/31/18
A Lopez Island Deputy investigated a residential burglar alarm. The home was found secure, and there was no sign of any attempted entry.

18-009838 Citizen Dispute 12:39:48 12/31/18
A Deputy took a report of an apparent domestic dispute on Orcas Island. The reporting party was off island and wished to report the incident. It does not appear at this point that a crime has occurred and an informational report has been completed.

18-009858 Traffic Stop 20:53:02 12/31/18
A Deputy on San Juan stopped a vehicle for failing to stop at stop sign and expired registration. The driver was arrested for DUI and issued an infraction for expired registration, no insurance, no driver license on person, no registration, and fail to stop at stop sign.

18-009861 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 21:23:09 12/31/18
A Lopez Island Deputy contacted a subject in the 2800 block of Fisherman Bay Road after he saw him walking with an opened container of beer. The subject was issued a criminal citation for minor in possession of alcohol and released with a future hearing date in Friday Harbor.

A Lopez man was arrested for driving under the influence following a single vehicle collision.
