25-008558 Trespassing 10:44:01 12/17/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a trespassing incident in the downtown Eastsound area. The Deputy learned that the landlord wanted his tenant trespassed from the property that the tenant is renting. The incident was documented as a civil matter.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Assist. The incident was documented.

25-008573 Agency Assistance 19:11:01 12/17/25
An Orcas Island Deputy along with the Orcas Island Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle stuck in a 45-degree ditch. Orcas Island Fire and Rescue assisted the driver from the vehicle with injury. The citizen was submitted for a Department of Licensing retest. The incident was documented.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to a third-party reported sex offense. Investigation concluded that no crime had been committed.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to another report of a sex offense that had taken place locally between two minors. A report was taken. The case is ongoing.

Deputies on San Juan Island contacted an individual who wanted to discuss an incident of harassment. A report was generated.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a citizen needing assistance with trespassing individuals from a property. The incident was documented and the individuals involved will be notified they have been trespassed from the property.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 22

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a dog at large. The owner was issued an infraction for dog at large 2nd offense. A report was completed.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 23

Lopez Island Deputies were approached regarding mail theft in the Village. The incident was documented.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a communications complaint. The complainant was advised of how to seed an anti-harassment order.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 24
25-008711 CPR ALS 19:52:10 12/24/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of an unconscious individual in the bathroom of a local business. Deputies and San Juan EMS units provided aid, but the person was pronounced deceased. A report was completed, and the death does not appear suspicions at this time.

Lopez Island Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Violence Call. The incident was documented.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 25
25-008714 Death Investigation 04:10:21 12/25/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to a death investigation. The death appeared to have been natural and the decedent was turned over to Evan’s Funeral Chapel.

25-008717 Accident-NonInj 13:49:47 12/25/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a single vehicle accident. The driver of a vehicle experienced a suspected medical emergency while driving, went off the roadway and struck a tree. A report was completed.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a welfare check. An individual was contacted and was placed into protective custody. They were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

A Lopez Deputy was contacted about an alleged theft. The matter appeared to be mental health related.

A Lopez resident called about issues with a feral cat. Wolf Hollow and other solutions were suggested.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a suspicious incident near the Turtleback Mountain area. The Deputy learned that someone used a residence for their personal needs without stealing from or damaging the residence. The homeowner only wanted the incident documented at this time.

Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of a DUI. The driver was arrested for physical control of a vehicle while under the influence and driving while license suspended 3rd degree.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a welfare check in the Olga area. The Deputy learned that the subject of the investigation had family members monitoring the subject located at a hospital out of state. The incident was documented.

Lopez Deputies and Lopez EMS responded to a suicide attempt. The person was located in fair condition and transported to the hospital.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an animal bite incident in the Eastsound area. The reporting party sustained multiple puncture wounds from a dog bite. The potentially dangerous dog owner was subsequently issued a citation. The incident was documented.
