A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of animal noise. The dog’s owner was contacted and was asked to quiet the dog when it is barking as to not disturb neighbors. The incident was documented.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a non-injury collision involving a boat off a trailer in the roadway. The driver was issued an infraction for unsecured load and multiple warnings were given.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a fraud call where the reporting party received a text message stating to click on a link to collect money. They did not and reported it to the company that the text stated it was from. A report was taken.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a found property call when a Lopez citizen found a Utah driver’s license on the side of Davis Bay Road. The Deputy contacted the owner of the license and mailed the license back to Utah.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a civil dispute regarding a vehicle that is being sold. The reporting party provided a statement and the incident was documented.

A Deputy on Orcas was informed of a wanted person at the ferry terminal. The person was found, arrested, and booked over in Friday Harbor.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a littering call. A Lopez citizen witnessed a man throw a beer can out of a vehicle window. The Deputy located and questioned the described man, who denied throwing any garbage. The Deputy searched for but was unable to find any beer cans in the described area.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a Hit and Run at the ferry terminal. A motorcycle driver lost control, collided with a parked vehicle, & left the area without exchanging information with the victim. The fleeing driver was located and identified. The case will be forwarded to the P.A.’s office for charging.

A Deputy was contacted about a Suspicious Circumstance. The person had located a baggy with white powder inside in the Friday Harbor area. The baggy was entered into evidence to be destroyed. Report taken.

Lopez Deputies responded to a 911 hang up call. Upon investigation, someone had accidentally dialed 911 from their pocket while mowing the lawn.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a roll over traffic collision on the 100 block of Point Lawrence Rd. An investigation was conducted, and a report authored.
