14-005079: Missing Person—Deputies responded to a reported missing person. A short time later the person in question was found sleeping on the beach.

14-005081: Hit & Run Accident—A Deputy responded to the Friday Harbor High School parking lot and found a vehicle that was parked in the lot had been damaged. No information about the other driver was available.

August 22, 2014

14-005107: Threats—Deputies responded to a verbal confrontation involving neighbors who were disagreeing about dog behavior. The reporting party felt he was threaten by the dog owner.

14-005122: Wanted Person—An Orcas Deputy observed a person with active local warrants and took them into custody.

14-005132: Wanted Person—An Orcas Deputy observed another person with active local warrants and took them into custody.

August 23, 2014

14-005144: Suspicious—A Lopez Deputy responded to a reported suspicious circumstance. Upon arrival he contacted a 16 year old who was seen operating a motor vehicle. The teen was unable to present a valid license and was transported to her home.

14-005149: DUI—A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a male subject who appeared intoxicated on the ferry. The deputy located, stopped, and contacted the male adult and subsequently arrested the suspect for DUI.

August 25, 2014

14-005180: Vandalism—A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of tire slashing on Port Stanley Road. The case remains under investigation.

14-00518: Injury Motor Vehicle Accident—A San Juan Island Deputy responded to a vehicle versus bicycle collision, the bicycle was beyond repair. However, the injuries to the bicyclist were minor.

14-005186: Vandalism—A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of slashed tires on Tuatara Road. The case remains under investigation.

14-005191: Vandalism—A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of slashed tire at the Islander Resort. The case remains under investigation.

14-005192: Theft—A San Juan Island Deputy responded to a reported theft in a rural area. An estimated $6000 worth of jewelry had been removed from the residence. Case is under investigation.

14-005195: Vandalism—A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of slashed tires on Lopez Road. Case remains under investigation.

14-005197: Vandalism—A Lopez Deputy responded to a reported slashed tire in another location on Lopez Road. The case remains under investigation.

14-005203: Threats—A San Juan Island Deputy was contacted at the station by a person who stated that family members had been allowed to stay at his home were now causing problems. The family members were contacted and told to stop their behavior.

14-005204: Wanted Person—A person with a valid warrant for arrest came to the station and turned herself in.

August 26, 2014

14-005209: Injury Accident—Orcas Deputies responded to a reported injury accident in the Olga area. The only person on scene was treated and released and subsequently arrested for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. The case remains under investigation.

14-005229: Disorderly Conduct—San Juan Island Deputies responded to Roche Harbor to assist with an intoxicated person. The person refused the leave the establishment when requested and was arrest for Disorderly Conduct.

August 27, 2014

14-005240: Wanted Person—A person with valid warrants came to the station and was arrested.

14-005249: Wanted Person—Lopez Deputies located and arrested a person with valid warrants.

14-005250: Injury Accident—A San Juan Island Deputy responded to a two-car accident. One of the drivers was transported to the hospital and the other driver was issued a citation for Failure to Yield Right-of-Way.

August 28, 2014

14-005288: Threats—An Orcas Deputy responded to a situation where a person had spoken to another person in such a manner as to frighten the second person.

14-005290: Harassment—A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of harassment. The incident occurred between two motorists and was settled by contacting both parties.

14-005291: Threats—An Orcas Deputy contacted a complainant concerning the behavior of a former friend. The Deputy agreed to contact the friend and determine the reason for the stated behavior.

August 29, 2014

14-005299: Theft—A Lopez Deputy responded to a reported theft of a small plaque from a park bench. The case remains under investigation.

14-005300: Fraud—A Lopez Deputy contacted the complainant, who explained someone had tried to open an account in his name. The account was denied since the complainant had his information flagged in the credit agency due to a hacking of file containing the person information. PLEASE REMEMBER TO ALWAYS TAKE ANY BREACH OF INFORMATION SERIOUSLY AND WORK WITH THE CREDIT COMPANY TO FLAG YOUR NAME AND INFORMATION.

14-005323: Wanted Person—A person came to the Friday Harbor Office to surrender.

August 30, 2014

14-005368: Wanted Person—Lopez Deputies arrested a person with active warrants. The suspect was able to pay the bail amount and was released.

14-005386: DUI—A San Juan Island Deputy stopped a vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver for DUI.

September 1, 2014

14-005411: Theft—A San Juan Island Deputy responded to a reported theft of an outboard motor from the Port of Friday Harbor. Case is under investigation.

14-005421: Assault—San Juan Island Deputies responded to a reported assault. A male adult was arrested for assaulting another male.

14-0054340: Vandalism—A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a slashed tire that occurred on School Road. The case remains under investigation.
