San Juan Deputies responded to a report of CPR in progress. A juvenile victim was located deceased on the scene and detectives were called to respond. The investigation is ongoing.

A Lopez Island Deputy documented the loss of a 12-foot Duraboat. The owner believes the boat slipped its clip and was lost. No crime is suspected.

Deputies on San Juan Island responded to an accident; a vehicle had been rear ended. Passengers in the struck vehicle were treated by EMS and taken to the hospital. A Lopez Deputy responded to a physical altercation that occurred in the parking lot of the grocery store. The matter is under investigation.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a hit and run. There was damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. After reviewing camera footage, the location of where damage occurred was unable to be determined. A report was completed.

An Orcas Island Deputy took a found property report. A reporting party located a small plastic / toy drone in his front yard. No owner was located, and the drone was booked into found property.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of found property. The owner of the property arrived at the Sheriff’s Office shortly after and retrieved their lost phone.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a barking dog. The dog was located, barking outside on a porch. The dog owner was off-island. The Deputy, with the owners permission, put the dog inside the house.

A San Juan Deputy was called out for a disturbance at PIMC. While the Deputy was enroute, the subject entered the building unlawfully. The person was contacted inside and escorted out of the building. Investigation revealed that the person appeared to be experiencing hallucinations due to drug use.

A lost wallet belonging to an off island person was turned over to a Lopez Deputy. The owner could not be located, and the wallet was secured in evidence.

Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a lost wallet. The wallet was last seen at a local restaurant but no longer there. A theft report was generated.

A Deputy on San Juan Island investigated a case of fraud. A resident of this county has failed to register their vehicle in WA State, while being registered in another state. Charges for Licensing Vehicle Out of State 1st Offense will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of vandalism in Friday Harbor. Someone had bent a locking trailer hitch pin on a truck. The incident was documented and photographed. There is currently no suspect information or workable leads. A report was completed.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a domestic incident on Linder St. Investigation revealed that the involved parties had no domestic relationship and neither wished to pursue criminal charges. One party was trespassed from the other’s residence.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Fraud in the San Juan Island area. The person was reporting that someone keeps changing the contact information on a banking account. There has been no loss at this time. Report taken.

A Deputy had contact with a person in the Friday Harbor area. The person is known to be on probation. During the contact with the person, the Deputy observed the person was violating their probation conditions. Report taken.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of fraud. The victim had called unknowingly called a scam number after getting a message. The victim did withdraw money but spoke with the Deputy before sending any money or gift cards. The victim did not sustain a monetary loss. A report was completed.

Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a domestic incident. The situation had remained verbal. It was discovered that an involved party had out of county warrants for their arrest. The subject was taken into custody and booked into jail without incident.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a fraud call in Eastsound. The reporting party had sent money from their bank to a third party. They later found that it was a scam. A report was taken.

A Deputy observed a person with an outstanding warrant. The person was contacted and taken into custody without incident. The person was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and booked into custody. Report taken.

Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a single vehicle collision. The driver got impatient and tried to make an improper u-turn at a roundabout, instead of using the roundabout. The vehicle hit an earth bank. The driver was issued an infraction. A report was completed.
