A Deputy responded to a walk-in report of a possible drug issue. The reporting party completed a written statement, a report was made, and the report forwarded to a detective for a follow up interview. Investigation ongoing.

A Lopez Island resident reported out of season crab pots in Shoal Bay off Lopez Island. Upon investigation, the crab pots were part of a lawful tribal fishery activity.

A Deputy responded to a report of an erratic driver in Eastsound. The vehicle and driver where located and further investigation revealed probable cause to arrest the driver for Driving Under the Influence. The driver was arrested, processed and released.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a suspicious motor home parked on the side of the road. Further investigation revealed the motor home was inoperable and was abandoned.

An Orcas Deputy investigated a report of junk household belongings being dumped off a power easement road in Eastsound.

A local business owner turned over found property to a Lopez Deputy. The owner was notified and the property was secured pending pick up.

A Lopez Deputy checked on a possible abandoned vehicle. The vehicle is not operable and the owner will have it towed.

Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle collision with possible injury. An investigation was completed and infractions were issued for no proof of insurance and open marijuana container inside vehicle.

A Deputy conducted a welfare check of a juvenile at a Lopez Island residence on after Child Protective Services requested assistance with an investigation. The child was found to be in good health and there was no obvious evidence of neglect or abuse.

A Lopez Deputy performed a welfare check that was requested by a state agency. The involved parties were interviewed and a report was completed.

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic assault on Clark Island. An investigation commenced. The suspect was arrested and booked into the San Juan County Jail for Assault in the Fourth Degree – Domestic Violence.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a reported hit & run traffic collision in Eastsound where the suspect was reported to be intoxicated. The suspect and vehicle were not identified. A report was taken.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of juveniles drinking alcohol aboard a ferry. Two juveniles were arrested for minor in possession.

San Juan Deputies were advised of a cold Hit-and-Run collision. The incident was investigated and a report generated.

A Deputy investigated a reported criminal trespassing incident at a Lopez Island residence. The property owner requested that the perpetrator be served with a criminal trespass warning letter. The perpetrator was issued a warning letter and told he could be arrested if he failed to comply.

San Juan Deputies responded to a citizen dispute. One party left prior to arrival. The incident was verbal in nature and no crime was reported.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of a vehicle swerving “all over the road”. the vehicle was located and the driver identified. The driver was subsequently arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs.

Orcas Island Deputies responded with OIFR to a motor vehicle accident in the Olga area. The driver left the scene before units arrived and was unable to be located. The vehicle was impounded. A report was taken.
