San Juan Deputies were advised of a case of child abuse. This incident occurred out-of-county, but the victim was safe in Friday Harbor. CPS had been unable to contact their local agents. Deputies facilitated contact with the main local CPS office to assist in the investigation.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to the 400 block of Enchanted Forest Rd. for a welfare check on a subject having a mental health crisis. All parties were contacted and given options for assistance which were all declined. An incident report was authored.

A Lopez Island Deputy observed a very agile, animated man on a stand up paddleboard off Odlin Park. On closer examination, the man was pulling up crab pots. On return to the beach, the man was contacted and his catch checked. He was given a stern warning for not having a lifejacket.
