A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of theft of a Pride Foundation sign out of a yard. At this time, there is no suspect information or workable leads. A report was completed.

A Friday Harbor business reported someone having broken in and sleeping inside the business. No damage was done to the entry and nothing was stolen. An investigation is currently underway.

24-001902 Attempted Suicide 16:25:01 04/04/24
Lopez Island Deputies and Lopez Island Fire & EMS were dispatched to a Suicide Attempt. The individual was transported to Peace Island Medical Center for further evaluation and a report was taken.
24-001903 Accident-Injury, Traffic 16:41:52 04/04/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover collision. The driver was arrested for DUI and was booked into jail.
24-001906 Fraud 17:43:42 04/04/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island received a fraud complaint.
24-001913 CPR ALS 21:23:07 04/04/24
A Lopez Island Deputy and Lopez Island Fire & EMS were dispatched to a CPR ALS call turned Death Investigation. The scene was investigated, and the death appeared to be of natural causes. Evan’s Funeral Home was contacted, and the incident was documented.

A Deputy responded to an Unresponsive Person. The person was treated by San Juan Aid but was declared deceased. Deputy investigated the incident. Report taken.

A Lopez Deputy was contacted regarding an alleged trespassing issue. No crime occurred and the other party was reminded of an existing trespass admonishment letter currently on file.
SATURDAY, APRIL 6
24-001955 Runaway Juvenile 17:04:05 04/06/24
A Deputy was dispatched to a Runaway Juvenile in the Friday Harbor area. The Deputy located the juvenile but was informed the parent no longer wished to pursue the issue. Report taken.
24-001961 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 21:26:55 04/06/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence. When the Deputy arrived, a vehicle pulled into the driveway before quickly reversing and fleeing. The driver fled on foot and was located in the residence later. They were booked on several charges.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of found property. A drivers license was located along the roadway near American Camp. Efforts were made to contact the owner, however attempts were unsuccessful. The drivers license was placed into evidence as found property. A report was completed.

An assorted box of old ammunition was turned into the Sheriff’s Office for destruction. It was booked into the property room.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of threats. The investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of harassment. The reporting party was referred to the San Juan County Courts to petition for a no-contact order and was provided Safe San Juans information. A report was completed.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a fraud call. The reporting party (RP) had lost money when they were scammed into buying gift cards. The incident was documented.
