25-002277 Vagrancy 13:22:35 04/23/25
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a report of illegal camping. Deputies found two vehicles that appeared to be setting up camp. The individuals were informed that camping was not permitted in the area. One driver was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license.

25-002278 Accident-NonInj 13:32:58 04/23/25
Deputies responded to the report of an accident on Guard and Culver Avenue involving a small striking the rear end of a delivery van. The female driver of the car was arrested for DUI and booked into the jail.

25-002285 Agency Assistance 16:13:25 04/23/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an agency assist call. The Deputy talked to the suspected vulnerable adult. It was discovered that they did not require and did not want help from the Sheriff’s Office. The incident was documented.

25-002289 Animal at Large 16:45:24 04/23/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an animal at large in the Obstruction Pass area. The owner of the animal at large had multiple infractions for San Juan County code dog at large. The owner was subsequently issued an infraction for dog at large 3rd offense.

25-002298 Agency Assistance 08:23:34 04/24/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island received a referral from Adult Protective Services. After investigating, the Deputy determined the crime occurred in another state.

25-002301 Agency Assistance 10:22:01 04/24/25
A Deputy was dispatched to a Fraud incident in the Friday Harbor area. The person contacted reported that her ex-partner used her Social Security number to set up a pay app without their permission. Investigation continues.

25-002307 Theft 13:35:45 04/24/25
A Lopez Island resident reported the theft of a package from their mailbox.

25-002308 Unwanted Person 14:55:23 04/24/25
Lopez Deputies responded to an Unwanted Person call. A homeowner wished to have a hired contractor removed from their property. The contractor left on their own before the Deputies could contact them.

25-002314 Civil Problem 15:55:33 04/24/25
An Orcas Island Deputy assisted a local citizen by documenting suspicious behavior. The Deputy authored a report documenting the incident and explained to the citizen that at this time the behavior was not a criminal matter. The Deputy provided the citizen with resources to help.

25-002321 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 18:45:25 04/24/25
A Lopez citizen called to provide information possibly pertaining to a missing person. Upon further questioning, the information provided did not involve the missing person.

25-002324 Found Property 20:22:00 04/24/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a found purse. The owner was contacted and was going to come back to the island to get the purse. The purse was booked into evidence for safekeeping until the owner can get the purse.

25-002326 Medical BLS 21:54:25 04/24/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a potentially intoxicated individual attempting to leave the docked ferry in a vehicle. The individual was transported to the hospital for treatment and was later arrested for DUI physical control, suspected of using drugs.

25-002328 Wanted Person 22:22:28 04/24/25
Orcas Island Deputies apprehended a wanted fugitive in the Killebrew Lake area. The fugitive was placed into custody of the Sheriff’s Office without incident and then transported to Friday Harbor for booking.

FRIDAY, APRIL 25
25-002340 Accident-Injury, Traffic 11:10:38 04/25/25
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle collision on Orcas Island. The driver was transported by EMS and the vehicle was towed from the scene. The contributing circumstances are unknown at this time.

25-002341 Boating Problem 11:18:00 04/25/25
Deputies stopped and boarded a vessel near the south end of Lopez Island. The operator was cited for failure to obtain a boaters education card. The incident was documented.

25-002346 Property Damage, Non Vandalism 13:37:56 04/25/25
A San Juan Deputy took a report of property damage. The reporting party was not the property owner, who did not wish to speak to the Deputy regarding the matter.

25-002348 Fraud 14:07:09 04/25/25
A Lopez Deputy was contacted for a potential fraud investigation. The involved party will need to provide banking documents to determine if a crime occurred.

25-002350 Trespassing 14:43:57 04/25/25
An Orcas Island Deputy assisted a local resident with trespassing an individual from their property. The incident was documented, and the individual was served the trespass notice.

25-002354 Citizen Dispute 16:35:00 04/25/25
Lopez Deputy responded to a dispute among family members. A report was completed. The issue is civil and needs to be addressed in court, not by a Deputy.

SATURDAY, APRIL 26
25-002386 Agency Assistance 21:55:12 04/26/25
An Orcas Island Deputy assisted the US Coast Guard in an investigation into a person boating while under the influence. The incident was documented, and the US Coast Guard is actively investigating the incident.

25-002388 Disorderly Conduct 23:28:03 04/26/25
A Lopez Deputy was called for a property damage complaint. The third party caller had incorrect information, the incident is unfounded.

SUNDAY, APRIL 27
25-002390 Accident-NonInj 01:50:32 04/27/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover collision. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a power utility box and tree before coming to rest on it’s roof. The driver was arrested for DUI and MIP, and the two passengers were cited for MIP.

25-002392 Theft 06:44:58 04/27/25
A Lopez Deputy was called for a person behaving erratically. No crime had occurred. The person was given a cup of coffee and transported to the ferry where they walked onboard to Anacortes.

25-002394 Domestic Dispute or Assault 09:15:45 04/27/25
Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic in the Orcas Island area. Deputies arrived and contacted the people involved. The incident was Civil involving property line dispute. Informational report taken.

MONDAY, APRIL 28
25-002411 Accident-HitRun 10:57:26 04/28/25
Century Link reported damage to equipment on Shark Reef Road. This was caused by an unknown erratic driver.

25-002421 Domestic Dispute or Assault 16:23:13 04/28/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of a domestic. A person was taken into custody and booked into the San Juan County jail for Assault 4th Degree DV.

25-002422 Civil Problem 17:25:32 04/28/25
A Lopez citizen called concerning a child custody issue. The matter was determined to be civil in nature.

TUESDAY, APRIL 29
25-002438 Accident-Injury, Traffic 15:45:33 04/29/25
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs.

25-002443 Sick or Injured Animal 18:32:45 04/29/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a cat that was hit by a car on Roche Harbor Rd. at Village Grove. It is unknown who the owner of the cat is at this time.

25-002446 Harassment 21:51:01 04/29/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a harassment complaint. After investigation, the Deputy determined no crime had been committed. The Deputy authored an informational report.
