20-002860 Welfare Check 09:21:10 04/22/20
An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a welfare check in Eastsound. The woman was found and everything was fine. She was given a courtesy ride back to her residence.
20-002863 Traffic Hazard 13:00:27 04/22/20
A Lopez Island Deputy discovered a large tree had fallen, blocking Shark Reef Rd. The Public Works crew responded and cleared the tree from the roadway.
20-002870 Welfare Check 18:15:14 04/22/20
Deputies responded to a report of a female entering a vehicle without permission and attempting to start it. The female subject has had multiple contacts with law enforcement within the last week. The reporting party did not wish to pursue criminal charges. A report was written.
20-002873 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 19:15:20 04/22/20
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a suspicious call in the Eastsound area. The reporting party advised that a woman was walking down the road screaming. She was heard screaming about reading the bible along with other things. A report was taken.
20-002878 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 21:32:10 04/22/20
A Deputy received a report of a female walking in the middle of the roadway near Eastsound at night in dark clothing. The female was located, but was able to maintain her walking path on the outside edge of the fog line while being observed. No other course of action was taken at the time.

A Lopez resident called a Deputy regarding a perceived shoreline access issue. A Polaris records check showed the area as private property with no documents supporting the caller’s claim. The caller was directed to other county resources responsible for this type of problem.
20-002900 Domestic Dispute or Assault 20:00:35
San Juan Deputies were dispatched to a report of Domestic Violence. Upon arrival and investigation suspect located and arrested for Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree and Assault 2nd Degree.
20-002902 Citizen Assist 22:53:10
A Deputy saw a known female walking down the roadway late at night in dark clothing. It was discovered the female was in connection with another male further up the roadway. The male was advised and was going to check on the female.

The reporting Deputy was dispatched to a Domestic in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy arrived and contacted the people involved. The incident was found to be verbal only and no crime was committed. Report taken.
20-002920 Vehicle Prowl 13:31:47 04/24/20
The reporting Deputy was contacted in reference to a Vehicle Prowl in the Friday Harbor area. Several items were removed from the bed of a vehicle. No suspects at this time. Report taken.
20-002924 Theft 15:05:27 04/24/20
An Orcas Deputy responded to a possible theft call in Eastsound. After an investigation was completed the reporting party decided not to pursue the case.
20-002928 Attempted Suicide 17:09:33 04/24/20
San Juan Deputies were dispatched to a report of a Suicide Attempt. Contact was made and victim was not found to be in imminent danger.

The reporting Deputy was dispatched to a Domestic in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy arrived and contacted the people involved. The incident was found to be verbal in nature and no crime had been committed. Report taken.

The reporting Deputy was dispatched to a Residential Burglary in the San Juan Island area. The reporting Deputy arrived and contacted the family living at the residence. There was no loss in the incident. Report taken.
20-002941 Lost Property 11:48:51 04/25/20
A Lopez Island Deputy received property found near a south end beach area. The owner was contacted and the property was returned.
20-002954 Fraud 16:24:22 04/25/20
An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a fraud callback near Olga. The reporting party stated they had given their information out over the phone. They have since taken the proper steps to prevent fraud. A report was taken.
20-002955 Burn Investigation 16:29:11 04/25/20
A Lopez Island Deputy contacted a homeowner about a backyard burn outside the conditions of the burn permit. The fire was extinguished, and no further action was taken.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a theft complaint. The investigation is ongoing.
20-003029 Accident-NonInj 13:47:55 04/28/20
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a motor vehicle accident in
the Eastsound area. The reporting party advised that a vehicle had stuck a power pole and had power lines on the vehicle with someone trapped inside.
20-003034 Found Property 16:29:21 04/28/20
A citizen turned in a found credit card. The owner was located and the credit card was returned.
