Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 8 a.m. at the Skillet
— from Chris White for Orcas Lions —
Battalion Chief and Paramedic Patrick Shepler of Orcas Fire and Rescue will speak next Wednesday Feb 22 at 8 a.m. to the Orcas Lions and Sunrise Volunteer members regarding the four most common causes of death on Orcas Island.
You might be thinking of just what could that be, well the 4 most frequent causes are more basic than you might believe and common sense will cure most of them. The information Patrick will share is not only useful to you but also to your neighbors, and a perfect example if what to do will be present in meeting.
This meeting will prove to be another great event sponsored by the Orcas Lions Club, who will host your coffee.
Agenda:
8 a.m. Doors open Island Skillet, free coffee
8:10 Order Breakfast (not hosted) and introductions, announcements by President Steve Schaefer
8:15 Introduction Battalion Chief Patrick Shepler “The 4 Horseman, What is Killing us on Orcas”
8:45 Remaining business
8:55 Adjourn
Remember Sunrisers, feel free to come along and bring a friend!
