On Thursday, July 9 at 7:30 pm at Doe Bay Resort, a full Shakespeare play, “As You Like It” will be performed.
A troupe out of San Juan Island called Island Stage Left does a Shakespeare play yearly and tries to bring it to the other islands for one performance each. For most of August they perform at Roche Harbor.
The performance at Doe Bay will be outdoors so it is good to dress warmly and bring blankets. But we have gone almost every year and it is fun and unique watching Shakespeare under the stars. Cost is by donation. The website for Stage Left is at https://www.islandstageleft.org/
