With the continued growth in the Eastsound area, the infrastructure must grow to meet demand. The Eastsound Sewer and Water District will be holding a townhall on Monday October 7, 5:30 at Station 21 Firehall.
The discussion will be about the community waste treatment status and a sewer plant expansion required to meet future needs. Our engineer from Wilson Engineering will be at the meeting to report on the engineering study they did for the District, to look into present plant operations, the need for plant maintenance and future needs for sewer service given the rate of community growth.
