Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival is in its final week. After many amazing concerts and the final concerts yet to come, the Festival would not be complete without the free Open Rehearsal for Seniors.
The free Open Rehearsal for Seniors takes place on Friday, August 16, at 1 p.m. at Orcas Center, and will feature performers and selections from the closing concert pair, World Premiere Finale.
Many seniors enjoy lunch at the Orcas Senior Center before climbing aboard the Senior Services vans to make the short trip to Orcas Center, and the hall always fills with an abundance of our island elders, many of whom are not be able to attend the Festival’s evening concerts. All senior citizens are welcome at this fun daytime rehearsal. There is no charge for tickets, which will be available at the door.
