The house being the Lundeen Room of the Senior Center which was packed to overflowing as guests of all ages enjoyed the eye- and ear-amazing talents of a harvest of Orcas Islanders at the First Annual “Seniors Have Talent” show.

In fact there was such an abundance of talent that we’re going to have to make two separate slide shows to show you the grace, wit and just plain fun spirits that prevailed on a wet November afternoon.

Emcee Didier Gincig (in featured pohoto), coordinator of the volunteer Hearts and Hands program, asked the enthusiastic audience near the show’s conclusion, “Shall we do it again next year?” The answer roared back: “Yes!”

The pictures don’t do it justice. Plan to participate and to come next year, and in the meantime, support the Senior Center and Hearts and Hands with your funds and your volunteer time!
