Join us for a community celebration on Thursday, August 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Orcas Senior Center as we mark two major milestones—full ownership of our building and the purchase of a brand-new walk-in cooler for our nutrition program!
We are incredibly grateful to the Orcas Island Lions Club for their generous support and to all the community donors who helped make building ownership possible. A special thank-you goes to the
Whatcom Council on Aging for the grant that funded the new cooler, ensuring that meals for seniors and others in need can continue safely and efficiently.
Enjoy free hotdogs and ice cream, live music by Orcatrazz, and the good company of friends and neighbors as we celebrate what we’ve accomplished together.
