From the Senate Democrats Committee

With only a few days left in the 2013 special session, Sen. Kevin Ranker, D-Orcas Island, spoke on the Senate floor Friday evening, demanding that the Senate get to work on a multitude of issues facing our state.

Friday marked the 26th day of the 30 day special session. In those 26 days not one vote has been taken on the Senate floor. Ranker ran through a laundry list of issues facing the state that have yet to be acted on, including a possible shutdown of state government and critical services if a budget isn’t passed by July 1.
