The Sea View Theatre is having a party to celebrate the Cinema and our community who saved the Sea View Theatre. We will start the festivities with a VIP reception in our outdoor lounge (tented, with heaters) featuring music from Hollywood’s Golden years performed by Martin Lund, Gene Nery, Grace McCune and other local stars accompanied by tasty hor’douvres and beverages. Then we will walk the red carpet for a photo-op with Hollywood stars Humphry Bogart, Katherine Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and YOU! Photos available FREE to download.
Next will be a special movie presentation of the newly digitally remastered “The African Queen,” one of the most captivating adventure/love stories ever put on film. This classic stars Katherine Hepburn & Humphrey Bogart. Showtime 6:30pm. Tickets are $15.00 for public and donors at $200. level and above are entitled to FREE Red Carpet Gala tickets. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Sea View Restoration Fund.

There will be prizes for best dressed!! The weather looks beautiful for the next two weeks…should be GRAND
This sounds like a fabulous event. I am hoping that one of your supporters and party-goes might be willing to pen the history of the Seaview for the Writing Our History Project and publication historylink.org (our publishing partner). It really is a story worth documenting.
The Writing Our History Project is a county-wide group of local history writers and researchers who are committed to producing well-written and researched essays on local history–especially those stories that have not yet been documented and made available and easily accessible to community near and far.
