A special Orcas Island School Board Meeting will be held at the State Capitol in Olympia this Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
School Board members will meet with Washington State Senator Kevin Ranker, and Representatives Jeff Morris and Kris Lytton.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia. Discussion includes:
1) Legislative issues to bring before WA State
2) Maintenance and Operations Replacement Levy committee
Future School Board meetings include a Budget Workshop-January 19 at p.m. in the Orcas Island School Library and the Regular Monthly School Board Meeting on January 26 in the School Library.
