Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, the Orcas Island School District will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
The public portion of the meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the School Library.
Items on the agenda for discussion include:
- Buck Park transfer update;
- Superintendent search process update;
- possible board retreat for January.
The OISD Board is also scheduled to:
- Accept Superintendent Barbara Kline’s resignation/intent to retire effective at the end of June 2014;
- Administer the Oath of Office for newly elected board members;
- Adopt Resolution 2013-19 declaring acceptance of the Waldron School construction project funded by WA State Distressed Schools Grant.
