Linda Sheridan and family

Linda Sheridan has been on the School Board since the spring of 2019, and was re-elected this past November. After living here for 17 years, she decided it was time to give back. Her decision to serve on our School Board was inspired by her belief in quality education for all students, and her faith in the great things that our district can accomplish. She is honored to continue her service to our community in this way.

Linda and her husband, Paul, live and work at Four Winds Camp in Deer Harbor, and love their busy summers with the campers. They are parents of two girls, and they recently fostered a 9th grader for six months.

Their oldest daughter loves going to the elementary school, while the youngest cannot wait to join kindergarten next year – she’s so excited that she will get to ride the bus every day. When Linda is not at work (or schlepping kids around), you can usually find her hiking with the dog, riding a horse, or snowboarding. The Sheridan family loves to travel and explore new places.

Linda is extremely proud of what OISD accomplished during the pandemic and could not be more grateful for the teachers, administrators, and staff who work with our students each and every day.

[Editor’s Note: No mention of her favorite ice cream flavor.]
