instructional model.

  1. Board’s Running Questions: Advance Part 2, WSSDA conference plans. 

PUBLIC COMMENT

  1. The Orcas Island School Board welcomes members of the community, parents, students, staff, administrators and visitors  to make comments or statements during this time that are in the best interest of our schools, with each presentation  limited to not more than three minutes. To submit written comments or statements, please email: cferran@orcas.k12.wa.us within 2 hours of the scheduled start time of the meeting.

  GENERAL BUSINESS   

  1. Review recommendations and possibly approve the transition to an In-person     instructional model.
  2. Approve Community Based Instructors (CBI’s) for 2020-2021 school year.  
  3. Adopt Surplus Resolution 2020-20 – Elementary math textbooks./
  4. Second reading and possible adoption of the following WSSDA recommended  policy updates:
    •    2005 (NEW) School Improvement Plan;
    •    3200 Rights and Responsibilities;
    •    3413 Immunizations.
