Saturday & Sunday, May 6 – 7, Healing Arts Center

— from Anita Holladay —

The Healing Arts Center welcomes the community to attend their Spring Healing Arts Fair, on Saturday and Sunday May 6–7. For this fundraiser, offered twice a year, practitioners donate their services; all proceeds support the nonprofit organization that maintains the historic Eastsound building.

The greatly discounted rates allow clients to try out new services and providers. Different styles of massage and bodywork are offered, as well as acupuncture, and health consultations with one of our newest team members, Mara Williams, ANP. Mara, a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, specializes in hard-to-treat chronic illnesses such as Lyme Disease. Our other new practitioner, nutritional therapist Stephanie Brening, is offering a one-hour class on the digestive microbiome, “Understanding Your Gut.” Herbalist Kristy Bredin is offering a Sea-Salt Making workshop.

The Fair will likely fill quickly; you can call the Healing Arts Center at 360-376-4002, or stop by 453 North Beach Road between 9 and 3, Monday through Friday, to sign up. For more information on the practitioners, you may visit www.orcashealingarts.org.
