From the Children’s House
Whether your interests include travel or fine food, wine or works of art, Saturday’s auction offers something for everyone.
Children’s House is sponsoring a Wine Pairing & Live Auction Sat. Nov. 3, from 4-7 PM at Emmanuel Episcopal Parish Hall.
Ticket proceeds benefit the Toddler and Preschool programs for the early learning center and are tax deductible. Come for the wine and cheese, stay for the auction which will offer participants the opportunity to bid on items including:
- Two separate week-long vacation rentals; one in June Lake, California (near Mammoth Mountain ski area) and one in Mazatlan, Mexico;
- Vacation rental home in Rosario;
- One-hour sightseeing plane ride over the San Juans;
- Dozens of dinners and lunches for two at local restaurants;
- 18-holes of golf for four;
- Work by local writers, artisans and artists;
- A variety of local professional services from computer support, environmental expertise, chiropractic adjustments;
- Pear and apple bread prepared by Children’s House preschoolers and ready for holiday gifting!
