This special benefit for San Juan County residents to enjoy our County parks opens in February.

San Juan County Parks, Recreation & Fair Department is pleased to announce our Resident Reservation Camping program will open in February, allowing locals the first chance to reserve a campsite in 2026.
On Tuesday, February 24, at 9:00 am through Thursday, February 26 at 4:00 pm, reservations will be available online to San Juan County residents. This is a three-day window, prior to our reservation website opening to the public on Tuesday, March 3 at 9:00 am.
This program allows San Juan County residents to reserve individual campsites early in order to camp with their family/friends together within a site. Both individual and group campsite are reservable online. Locals can reserve and enjoy unlimited camping stays through this program. Non-resident friends who would like to camp in their own site on the same dates can reserve beginning March 3 at 9:00 am.

Once reservations are open and you have submitted a payment for your campsite(s), always check that you’ve received an email confirmation receipt. Otherwise, contact our staff to verify that your reservation is secured.
When enjoying your camping stay through this benefit program, please be prepared to share your local identification at the campground, if asked by San Juan County Parks staff.
