San Juan County will be well represented at the Womxns March in Seattle on Saturday January 21. With an expected attendance of 20 to 30,000, many islanders have expressed a desire to try to meet to walk together, in the spirit of unity and mutual support.
In an effort to facilitate finding each other, we have officially registered a group, “Women of San Juan County” with march organizers. At the beginning of the event, at Judkins Park, official “connectors” will be available to help direct participants to the organization they wish to join.
We will be carrying the banner pictured here.
