Sara Thomsen, daughter of Edith Thomsen of Olga, will be on Orcas Island, offering Salsa and Tango dance classes at the Odd Fellows Hall this week.
The two Tango classes, on Tues/Thur, Feb 24th/26th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. $15 for one or $25 for two and one Salsa Class on Wednesday, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m for $15.
Sara Thomsen has been dancing, studying, and performing dance for over 16 years. With training in multiple dance styles, an extensive knowledge of anatomy and a decade of teaching yoga, she has a unique and comprehensive understanding of dance and tireless joy in helping others learn. Her focus is on becoming un-habituated to find more freedom and energy in dance.
Sara studies regularly in Buenos Aires with the worlds’ finest teachers and dances in milongas, from traditional to Nuevo.
