…and we’re having a party!

Anyone who has ever been in relationship with the little school with a big heart is invited to attend our birthday party on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 1:00 – 4:00 in the school yard. We will have food and refreshments to share, cake and conversation, and much more.
Over these 25 years, hundreds of children and their families have crossed the threshold through the spinning metal gate Tony Howe lovingly created into a child-centered world of deep connection, deep learning, radical acceptance, and a commitment to the value and sanctity of play.
On June 10, we will take a little time to be together, to reflect, to offer our deepest gratitude to our founders and all the families, their children and the amazing educators who have sustained this little experiment, this miracle, this community. If Salmonberry has touched your life, we hope to see you there.
And thank you, it’s because of you we are here.
