Judge Steward Andrew swears in Richard Hughes as San Juan County Councilman, Dec. 31, 2016

Rick Hughes was sworn in as San Juan County Councilman on this blustery Saturday morning, under the administration of oath by District Court Judge Stewart Andrew.
Hughes was first elected to the Council position in 2012. He was voted in again last November with 74.99 percent of the vote.
Hughes is a local businessman. He and his wife Marlace own Ray’s Pharmacy. They have a son attending Spring Street School.
