||| FROM SAM GAILEY for ORCAS ISLAND LIBRARY |||

Bruce Pavitt is a cultural icon and founder of Seattle’s Sub Pop, the record label that first discovered Nirvana, Soundgarden and Mudhoney. Few people have influenced music & popular culture as much as Bruce Pavitt.

As founder of Sub Pop fanzine & record label, as well as participant, financier and witness to music history, Bruce will share stories about the rise of Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, and other bands of the Grunge movement.

Hope you can join us Saturday, March 1st at 6pm at the Orcas Island Public Library. And there will be gift giveaways!
