Rena Patty will lead an 8-week course in “Compassionate Communication,” beginning March 31.

The classes will be Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m., beginning March 31through April 21; then one week off on April 28, and resuming again from May 5 through May 26.

The group will meet at the home of Morgan Meadows, 144 Rosehip Road, Eastsound (Wild Rose Meadow Neighborhood – across from Orcas Island Medical Center).

Patty says, “I will not be asking for a fee for the class because I want the class to be available to everyone regardless of concerns about money; toward the end of the series, I am willing to discuss cash contributions to support me in continuing to teach.

“This course is based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg, Nonviolent Communication (NVC); and the curriculum is written by Miki and Inbal Kashtan, trainers certified by the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) and founders of the BayNVC Leadership Program where I am currently working (BayNVC is based in Oakland, CA).”
