Rena Patty begins her tour from Orcas Island to Ground Zero, Manhattan Island to raise public consciousness about questions raised by architects and engineers in the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers on Sept. 11, 2001

On July 25, a dozen Orcas supporters gathered for a sendoff potluck for Rena Patty and her traveling companion from Arizona, Pam Senzee. Rena and Pam set off at 7 a.m. on July 26 for a three month bicycle journey to talk with people across the U.S. about the need for a new and independent investigation of the 9/11 attacks.

Their destination is the World Trade Center site in New York City. From New York, they will conclude their bike tour in Washington, DC where they’ll deliver Architects & Engineers for 911 Truth (AE911Truth ) petitions to congressional offices calling for a new, independent investigation of 9/11.

Questions raised by Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, a group of over 1,600 professional architects and engineers who have spent the last decade doing research on the World Trade Center attacks, have yet to be addressed, Patty says.

“We’re riding across the country because knowing what happened on 9/11 matters. We want honest and open public discussion about what happened on 9/11,” Rena said.
